Product Dimensions: 9.7 x 6.9 x 3.5 inches for a round press are unclear. What is the actual diameter of the press?

Seven inches round. Slightly bigger would be better since bacon begins at about 10".

It is about 1/32'' inch shy of 7''. I bought this press expressly for its smaller diameter. It works in my 8'' skillets. (Even though it won't sit on the bottom of the pan, it will press anything thicker than 1/4'')

Oh I forgot to answer question!! Yes it is pre-seasoned, just wash and use but remember cast iron needs to be dried so don't let it set in water or stay wet as it will rust.
