How long will you have to pedal?

Wrong K-TOR, a 12ah battery would take 4 hours to charge. 12 divided by 3 = 4. Basically you earn 3ah per hour pedaling. If you pull 24ah out of your 100ah battery overnight it would take you 8 hours to recharge.

It charges at 3 amps so to go from all the way empty to all the way full divide the amp hour rating by three. We don't recommend you let a battery go all the way empty however and going all the way full is not recommended because the charging rate drops as you approach full. you can use the battery of course when it is not all the way full and you can use it while charging. I want the option to use as hand crank also. Can someone recommend a "free wheeling" set of bicycle pegs to replace the pedals ? I can't find any.

The pedals in K-Tor pedal generators are standard half inch bike pedals. You can spin them out and put in any bike pedals.
