These reverse tooth blades are great. Minimizes tear out on the bottom side of the work piece. Be aware, though, that Flying Dutchman blades are all pinless. If you've got a scroll saw that only takes pinned blades, then you will have to get an attachment that will let you take pinless. However, I find the attachments (my saw came with one) to be a major pain. So much of a major pain that we have stopped using Flying Dutchman blades until we are able to upgrade our saw to an Excaliber. They were great, though, when we actually got to use them.

This is a nice assortment of blades. The few that I have used seem to be sharp, They do take a little getting used to since they cut on all sides. Over all I am happy with the purchase. I will make note that the vendor that I ordered from that it took a long time to receive the blades

These blades do a smooth cut with essentially no rough edge under the board. I've had a lot of different scroll saw blades on three scroll saws, beginning in the 60s with a little saw that mostly vibrated. This blade assortment opened cutting possibilities I hadn't tried before. I will definitely order packs of replacement blades from the German-made product.

I purchased a scroll saw after reading reviews and it looks like you have to come out of your pocket with a lot of money to get a good saw, well money I don't have and had to get one of the cheaper scroll saw. I set up the saw it came with 3 blades different sizes I ran some test and the saw was hard to control I could not cut a straight line,time after time I tried. Something told me to try different blades, So I did, The name Flying Dutchman jumped out at me the name alone sold me, you can get 12 of 6 different sizes blades at a great price. they where in my hands in 3 days, the setup took me a little time because of the plain end blades but once i got them in it was like I had a different scroll saw, I had complete control of the saw I made scroll cuts and fretwork with complete control at all times with a smooth fine finish cut you would think you had one of the top quality scroll saws. They sale them by the dozen or you can get one of the packages with 72 blades 6 different sizes of 12 blades each at a low price you can't go wrong.

Now I am only a beginner with the scroll saw so there is a lot I am still figuring out. Using the blades that came with my saw my cuts looked like i had used a chainsaw. I picked up some Skil blades and that made a small improvement in the appearance of the cuts, but they still looked rough. Then I decided to try the Flying Dutchman Scroll Reverse Blades based on the recommendations of Steve Good (scrollsaw workshop) and Ronald Walters. I am glad I did, my cuts are crisp and clean, the blades pass though the wood easily and the smaller blades allow me to make tighter turns with it. These blades have helped me gain confidence in what I am doing and my projects are looking much better. The price of these is low and well worth it and the seller, Scrollsawbladespatterns, shipped them out quickly. I received them within 3 days of ordering.

I bought these blade's and looked at then in the bag and thought what a rip there can't be 72 blade's in here But I'm happy to tell you I was wrong they are all there and are nicely made I have no dough they will work flawless!!! They do look small but they are for scroll work and they should work great!! I love the Idea of the blade's reversing in the middle I think it will stop the wood from jumping!!!

I have been scrolling as a hobby for a couple years using other blades and was losing interest because of all the time I had to devote to sanding. I was also getting frustrated at my lack of ability to move on to more intricate and difficult projects. I ordered these blades as a last ditch effort instead of shelling out the money for a new saw. These blades cut my completion times in HALF! I am able to get cuts done faster, smoother, with less fuzz and tearout on the backs of wood (LESS SANDING!!!). I will never buy a different brand again!
