I had been looking for something that would hold my phone upright so I could easily look at navigation, texts or calls. The magnetic piece has a really strong hold. It comes with two rings to add to your phone. I use wallet phone cases and have different styles of them, so having two magnetic rings is great. You can locate this phone holder any place you want in the car. Just find the best place in your vehicle to keep your phone and stick it on with the adhesive piece. One thing that does not work is that it is supposed to rotate - mine does not easily rotate at all and the hinges are super stiff. I am hoping that if I flex them enough before I actually install it permanently that it will loosen up a bit. Granted I don't want it too loose, but I can barely move the hinges, which isn't necessarily convenient. So, I will report back once I attach the phone holder and let you know I can easily flex it. If it loosens up, I will add another star.

This is a great mag phone holder for the car. It has a very Firm hold onto a little blank space on my center console, you don't have to worry about the phone sliding off. I like that it holds the phone down or up away from the vent so it does not block the air flow. It can be adjusted to wherever you want it really. It has worked great for me.
