Dulux Weathershield Smooth White Masonry,Acrylic Paint 7.5L

This was more jell like than liquid. Probably not the best on a straight wall. However on a pebble dash, or something like that, or irregular surface this is perfect. This paint clings to the irregular surface much better than the standard liquid paint. I have a wall that was coated with that irregular cement spray which over time becomes loose and dusty. You need to use a paint brush and not a roller for this kind of wall and it takes longer than a normal wall. Firstly it dries quickly. Secondly no second coat needed on this type of wall. Be careful when choosing brilliant white - it really is very white and clean looking. The outcome - the wall is no longer loose but solid, and has lost its sharp edges and is smooth to the touch. When the sun shines on the wall it is very bright - makes the garden look bigger and brighter. It might seem expensive but you cover a lot of wall for this amount. I am already purchasing another container of this paint.

This paint is thick and durable and really covers a multitude of sins, I've actually used it in my bathroom and kitchen as it gets so steamy and damp it's been perfect as I have no more damp dots now

I used to use Wilko’s own brand as it was cheap and good quality but since they’re now closed, I thought I’d try this stuff. I rollered it onto the garden wall and touched up in some places with a brush. It dried reasonably quickly and is clean and bright and looks smooth as well. Not too sloppy, also not too sticky. Most of the wall only needed one coat, so to date I’m impressed, specially as I still have half a container left, unlike previous purchases of other products. I’m no expert, verging on not very good at painting but I’d buy this product again if and when I need it. Also worth a mention is that it was really securely sealed up, with additional sticky tapes and poly bags to presumably help it turn up safely, without decorating the deliverers or vehicles on the way.
