Insinkerator New Replacement ISE Steaming Hot Water Tank & Filter Pack HWTF-1

We had a ten year old insinkerator hot and cold filtered water tap which began to leak. I removed and rained it but wasn't aware you could get a new upgraded boiler until I saw it on Amazon. It arrived within 24 hours and we had it fitted and working within 15 minutes as it just clicked intop the existing fittings. Absolutely excellent with the digital display and controls. The whole thing worked reallly well and the tap, which had developed a drip, no longer drips. So a big win all round

After fifteen years of daily use our old unit finally gave out. The replacement was very easy to fit, even for a complete plumbing novice. All you need to know is how to turn off the water, which in my case was with a tiny screw in the pipe leading to the unit. Highly recommended, especially as you get a spare filter too! Only way it could better is if it was cheaper.

After our previous grey model started leaking, we looked for a fix or replacement. Reading the details on this model it appeared a straight replacement... and so it was. One unit came out and the other straight in. All fixings and pipes/tubes remained the same and the unit started up no problem and we was back up and running in no time. Bravo to insinkerator for updating models but keeping all the fittings all the same so only the unit needed replacing. Great service and fast delivery.

We needed to replace the tank as it was leaking (it was nearly 7 years old) and were expecting to have to get a plumber to do it. After reading the reviews about how easy it would be we thought we would give it a go ourselves first. Unpacked the new tank (well packaged so took a few minutes), uncoupled old pipes, lifted old tank off screws, remeasured as we didn't believe the reviews could be right, retightened the screws a bit, popped on the new tank and coupled up pipes. Took about as long as typing this review.

Very happy with this ..it replaced the grey model...was easy to fit (so I'm told) hoping this last longer as it's our 3rd over a few years...came the very next day !!

I’m on my 4th of these. They seem to die. My last one was amazingly fured up with limescale and only lasted a year. Didnt leak but it did trip the fuse, assume a short in the element. My previous 2 developed leaks. I cant remember how on the first one but the second was where the two parts of the tank met leaked. I just cant live without it but if this replacement doesnt give me more than 2 years i’m switching brands. Now i have to say the new model looks very nice. I like the looks of it and having a digital display is better than the knob which was really easy to brush against and change the setting. Also we have a power display so you can tell that its actually on. My last gen they actually dropped the LED so you couldnt tell it was on. The new one is largely compatible with the previous models BUT its taller so i had to move the position of the screws. The power lead also comes out of the side rather below which could be an issue for some people but was ok for me. If i hadnt need to reposition it swapping it out would have been a 2 minute affair. My order arrived earlier than expected which was great. It was installed in short time and is working well.

After about 8 years, my original Insinkerator boiler unit has finally died. While £250 for an invisible Kettle does seem high, I love the convenience of perpetual boiling water on tap, so had to replace it. New Filter, 3 tubes, one plug, no tools, even hung on the screws for the old one. Run the hot tap for a few minutes to fill and flush it, and bingo, I'm now enjoying a coffee without having to heat up a pan! Hardest part was taking all the stuff out of the kitchen cupboard to get at it and stopping the cat nicking the sponge.
