Should be described as a cologne
This scent is pleasant but it is, indeed, intense. It also has a bit of an identity crisis. In one part of the product listing it is described as "For the sophisticated woman who evokes the glamour and sparkle of diamonds." In another part, it is described as "for men and women." Off Amazon it is advertised as unisex. However, I do not think most women would enjoy a scent this thick, intense, and masculine smelling. It is much better as (and described as) a men's cologne. One or two sprays and no more is the right balance due to it's strength. The scent has a lot of staying power even hours later.Oud Noir Intense is five stars as a men's cologne. And again, I don't think most women would enjoy it to wear themselves. I think the seller might want to consider narrowing their advertising to avoid critical reviews.

Masculine
The cologne is long lasting. It's a masculine scent. The bottle is super thick so it looks like it holds more than it does. It came well packaged with passing so you should be fine ordering it online.

Doesn't smell like it was described.
This was to smell like green apples. I smelled no apples.

This is some really good quality fragrance from U.A.E
The presentation on this fragrance is top-tier. It comes in a luxurious box, and the bottle itself has a premium feel that makes the unboxing experience really satisfying. At $150, the packaging alone puts it above brands like Armani and Chanel in terms of presentation.Since this is an EDP, I expected strong projection, and it delivered. The atomizer is decent, giving a solid mist with each spray. Right away, you get a minty opening, followed by a warm cinnamon heart, and it dries down into a smooth, amber-heavy base. It’s a perfect scent for a date night, carrying a seductive and masculine vibe. The projection is noticeable—people will catch your scent. For application, 2-3 sprays is the sweet spot. It lasts well over 5 hours, and if you go overboard, it can get overwhelming and possibly headaches. This isn’t something you want to overspray, especially in close settings.I haven’t explored many U.A.E fragrances aside from Lattafa, and honestly, those felt just okay for their $20-$50 range. I’ve always heard that Middle Eastern perfumes lean super strong, sweet, or overly spicy, but Rai Phalail completely changed my perspective. This brand is on another level when it comes to quality and balance. If you’re into fresher scents, I’d also recommend checking out their Oud Noir Mystic.Bottom line: the scent is rich, well-blended, and lasts for hours. At this price, it’s a steal—it smells far more expensive than what you pay.

Seems more masculine
This was advertised for women when I got it to review through the Amazon Vine program, but honestly it seems overpowering to me - maybe because I am not much of a scent wearer. They're not kidding when they say "intense". I spritzed one tiny little spray in the air and passed my wrists through the mist, without putting it anywhere else and the scent hung around a long time. I guess that's good if you are wearing it and want longevity! I couldn't really pick out the different notes as it just seemed one heavy, cloying scent with a dark feel. It actually just reminded me of the after-shave cologne that men used to splash on all the time in the olden days. It's not for me and my lighter feminine tastes, but I'm going to chalk some of that up to not being a consistent perfume wearer. I think I have to re-gift this since it's expensive and the bottle is very large. I will say that the packaging is very nice and of good quality and presentation. The bottle is also nice, but it a dark (hence the "noir") theme. I gave it a shot, it's not for me, but I know there are others who will enjoy it.

Excellent bang for your buck
I picked up Oud Noir Intense, hoping for an inexpensive oud, and it had good reviews. I've been wearing it for a couple of weeks, and honestly, it's amazing and has far exceeded my expectations. It opens bold, dark, and rich, with deep woody oud front and center. There’s a bit of smokiness, maybe even a touch of leather, but it doesn’t veer into anything too harsh or medicinal. It’s smoother than I expected, leaning slightly sweet as it dries down, with hints of spice and a creamy undertone that reminds me of high-end niche fragrances. Now, the inevitable comparison - Oud Wood. Oud Wood is more refined, a little softer, and has that signature warmth. Rai Phalail, on the other hand, is like Oud Wood’s more rebellious cousin who doesn’t care about being perfectly polished but still smells fantastic. Performance is solid. On my skin, I get about 8 hours or so, with strong projection for the first few hours before it settles into a close but noticeable skin scent. For the price, this is an absolute win and a great addition to my collection.

Surprising
This is advertised as a women's perfume. It was much too strong for me and overwhelming as I like a softer scent. However, my DAD loves it haha. It does have enough of a manly scent to it that it works well for him! It's quite expensive and I doubt we repurchase, but it was well received by an unintended dad!
