Good quality and good sound, slight background hiss at higher volume
I’ve been impressed by this set of two mics and amplifier. It couldn’t be easier to setup and use and has some really good features. The build quality is very good and feels like a more professional function room set. The mics needed charging before use but once fully charged and the amp is plugged in they connect instantly. The display is excellent, bright, clear and a good size. You can see clearly both the signal strength to the mic and the input throughput for the mic. It’s easy to change the channels it’s all preset in the buttons. The box is sturdy and has two aerials on the back like a WiFi router, it seems to work because in a big room or the next room the signal was always full. The battery life in the mics is very good, one charge has lasted a good few hours so far. The mics are a good weight and feel sturdy and well made. It has a simple small display and you can change the channels, mute or turn on or off with this. The mute function is very good looking down from the top of the mic there is a green or red pair of LEDs which indicate mute or live and these can only be seen close to the mic by the operator which is very good, this makes them feel very professional. The price is very good, on offer at the moment as well, for two mics and a well made receiver this is a good buy. There is a bit of background hiss when used at higher volume which after a second of quiet is auto muted until you use the mics again, the sound is t quite good enough for clear singing at higher volumes but solid mikes for any event.

Amazing, So Much Better Than Standard Home Machines
I ordered this to replace a rather underwhelming karaoke machine that I have had for quite a while, I wasn't really sure what to expect but this is so much more than just a standard home machine. On opening, this unit has a good weight to it which tells me that the electronics are of a better than normal standard, it also only used XLR for the inputs and outputs so the audios fully balanced and in a professional environment it could be used with a DMX for fully integrated lighting etc'.When connecting this up, I only have one set of XLR inputs on my main front amplifiers, I didn't want to pull out my cables so instead I used a set of XLR to RCA adapter cables and ran this device to my second input on the amplifiers. The two included microphones feel great to hold, again with some decent weight to them that feels so much better than the usual lightweight plastic type thatI have been used to.Everything supplied as part of this karaoke set looks and feels like quality and the basic setup is fairly straight forwards, if you require DMX or a higher level setup then although I haven't been able to test that due to my equipment limitations I don't see that will be too hard for most people.Once I had everything connected up and ready to go, I tested the microphones and the output is simply amazing, even though I had done away with the fully balanced XLR outputs due to using the adapter cables there was very little line noise if any and the vocals come through perfectly. This is a more complex machine than I have been used to and I'm still working out some of the settings and the information on the screen as the functions are quite comprehensive but that's mostly due to me being old and maybe a bit out of date, lol, I'm sure that any professional or even a younger karaoke enthusiast will be perfectly at home with using this and if added to a DMX unit with fully balanced connections I can only imaging how good this would be.I haven't used this a great deal as of now but come time for the family to get together this will take pride of place in our entertainment for some really bad karaoke singing from the family and me, lol. So far the rechargeable batteries in the microphones have held up well and seem to have a very good life between recharges.Overall, this unit has been produced to a high standard and everything feels and works like a quality device, all of this and the overall functionality of this system for under £100 is terrific value.Recommended for professional and for home use for anyone who loves karaoke.

A very good value setup.
Although good it must be remembered that these mics aren’t aimed at the professional singer. As the listing says they’re for karaoke so won’t be ideal for Adele should she accept a gig at your local church hall. The build quality of this Tonor TW550 is superb, the microphones are nearly all metal. Even when unscrewed to access the volume buttons the battery compartment is all metal. Only the base of the microphone, where the USB C charger connects, is made of plastic. The batteries are not only rechargeable there’s also replaceable with 14650’s from Amazon at around £20.00. Volume is the only control accessible through the mic. Everything else is adjusted through the receiver-apart from the mute button! The receiver is built to the same high standard. The knobs, aerials and buttons feel solid-they give the unit a high end feel of quality. I like the different coloured anti-slip rings so that John doesn’t accidentally pick up Janet’s mic and drown her out. The case follows the mics in being constructed of metal with the face looking sleek with a glass like finish.I took one of the mics to the top of my garden, which is around 180 feet and the receiver picked up my voice easily without it breaking up at all. The sound quality is good-for karaoke and weddings-and for the £99.00 purchase price you get a lot for your money. Should you decide to hire Adele she uses Sennheiser mics-at £800.00; and that’s just for one mic.
