Affordable pure matcha with no added fillers or sugars
A perfect 10/10. After a long search for an affordable, ceremonial-grade matcha, I've finally found my go-to. The powder itself is exceptional: it dissolves effortlessly, boasts a bright, vibrant green color, and, importantly, contains only pure matcha with no added fillers or sugars (which is surprisingly rare). I've been loving it for both traditional matcha tea and creamy matcha lattes. I'm already looking forward to my next purchase!

Clean of heavy metals and contaminants
Turns out that, according to Oasis app, this particular matcha is the cleanest on the market, so I purchased it.

overpriced and tastes bad
very disappointed. i wanted to like this matcha because i thought it'd be a good solution to the global matcha shortage. brian johnson has a reputation of sourcing high quality products, but this just isn't one of them.i typically buy actual ceremonial grade matcha from Uji or Kyoto, Japan. stuff like Marukyu Koyamaen Matcha Tenju or Horii Shichimeien Choukou no Mukashi. this cannot compare at all.it may have passed Brian's third party testing criteria for heavy metals or impurities, but the matcha was not grown right. i do not think it was sourced in Japan. it tastes and looks like cheap Chinese matcha.the coloration is off. it's not bright green. it's green and slightly yellow/brown. the flavor is very muted, chalky, and bitter.likely was grown in poor quality Chinese soil, in an undesirable climate, and harvested at not optimal time of year. probably wasn't grown properly in partial shade. might have been stored improperly in a warehouse too long.all in all very bad matcha for the price. so sad

love it except the packaging.
love it except the packaging... Would rather Bryan sell stainless containers and scoops separately rather than stick a plastic scoop in every bag. Matcha received is vibrant green and nice umami flavor that isn't gross or bitter. Not the cheapest but since I drink it plain (without milks or sweeteners) I find this very enjoyable
