This is not my first experience with an AboveTEK LapDesk. For the last few years I've used one for my iPad Pro, which I liked, but found it too heavy and thick. It also wasn't travel friendly, due to it's thickness. So I got a new iPad Pro and Keyboard Case and I went looking for something which was lighter and more easily traveled with and this is what I chose. It's far nicer than I expected. I don't know why I thought it would feel cheap and more like PU (fake) leather over cardboard, but that's most definitely what this is. Instead, I got a much lighter, more versatile, thiner, really well made of what feels like premium materials, which is more easily traveled with LapDesk. There are so many thought touches built into this lapdesk. There's a magnetic flap, which lets you angle your laptop/tablet in three different angles from 23, 30 or 35 degrees. And there's a PU flap at the front on the desk to lock your device in place so it won't slip down. It has a built-in slide out mouse pad. This is the only thing, which could be improved. It's pretty thin and if you're using this on your lap, it's not as stable without something underneath it to stop it from wobbling. On a flat surface, however, it's great. It's not really an issue for me though. I do use a mouse with my iPad Pro, but there's a mousepad next to me on my sofa, so I won't use the slide out pad often. Otherwise, this is standout LapDesk. It's much nicer than I anticipated and I'm sure just like my older LapDesk from AboveTEK, it will stand the test of time.

I’ve been using this Portable Laptop Lapdesk with my 15” MacBook Air, and it fits perfectly, no awkward overhang or instability. As a 3D artist, I rely heavily on using a mouse, so the retractable mouse pad is a fantastic addition. It slides out smoothly and provides just enough space for precise work, which is crucial for my workflow. The build quality is solid, and the adjustable angle feature really helps with ergonomics during long sessions. It feels sturdy and well-designed overall. However, the one downside - and it’s a significant one - is the weight. For something labeled “portable,” it feels heavier than expected. I purchased this so I can slide it in my laptop bag when I travel, and although it fits perfectly it does add significant weight for such a thin surface. Still, if you’re mostly using it in one location and need a stable, ergonomic setup with a proper mouse area, it’s a solid choice. Edit: The company reached out and offered excellent customer support. I will continue to support them as I was really pleased with how receptive they are to the customer's input

This laptop/I pad pad is beyond amazing and was above my expectations. I bought it for traveling to use it on an airplane but I realized it has served me way more than for the initial intension. Because it has an option to lift the screen higher, I can use it on my bed, couch, outdoors, car, pretty much everywhere I go. I even use it at times on my table to give me more inclined angle which I found very useful for me working hours in a computer. It also is the perfect size for traveling because I can actually fit it in my 40 lt backpack I use usually as personal item when traveling. I actually bought a different one to see which would give me better functionality but when the second one arrived and I saw the size, I did not even open it because that would have been too bulky to carry on an airplane. Some people were complaining about the size. I am not sure why because it is meant to fit for traveling. A bigger size wouldn't fit any personal item bag. And on the lap, regardless how big or small you are, you can just adjust it. It should be close to the size of the lap top, which is exactly what this one is. I use an air book 13 inch and the pad is slightly bigger than my laptop size, which is exactly what I expected. I highly recommend this product.

Great product. My mouse acts weird on the mouse pad, so I have to add my pad on top. A minor but acceptable adjustment. Still great, and it adds some additional real estate to those tiny tray tables on airplanes. If you like to game on your laptop with a mouse and keyboard while on a flight, this is a must-have. Functionality: Great for gaming in tight places where you don't have a tabletop to put your computer, and it keeps the heat away from your lap. Fit: Compact and light, so it fits well in any laptop case.

Really good lap desk and raiser. BUT the mouse space is decent at best. Thin, light, quality pad and lets my laptop breath. Pretty comfortable to use. The mouse space, not a mouse pad makes my mouse skip. When I use a mouse pad, it does not skip and I don't miss buttons to click. Got annoying enough that I bring a mouse pad with me. I wouldn't mind paying more if the mouse space that came with it was better quality.

At nighttime when I've finally had the chance to wind down I like to sit in my chair, watch TV and surf the web on my laptop. Recently I bought a new gaming laptop that has a high-end video card with cooling fans that blow air through vents in the bottom of the laptop. The problem is since I set my laptop on my chair arm the bottom vents get blocked and the computer heats up. I picked up this lap desk to rest on my chair arm and put my laptop on that. The laptop desk is quite solid with no bending when sitting on the chair arm. Therefore, the vents on the bottom of the computer are raised up a bit when sitting on the laptop desk and don't get blocked by the chair arm. My laptop doesn't heat up anymore. I don't use the tilting feature or the mouse tray. I did test the mouse tray just to see how it worked and although it's got enough room for the mouse it's not as stable as you might need. I don't need it so it doesn't bother me. My mouse sits on my lamp table which is right next to my chair. The laptop desk was fairly inexpensive when I bought it; it's solidly built and works just like I needed it to.

Its nice and slim the mouse pad when fully extended is just abit bendy but it will hold a good gaming mouse. Angle adjustment is ok although i dont use it. Very comfortBle Nti skid to uze on ur lap while on couch.. can even use as a anti slip coffee tray :) Overall great iitem and idea:)

This was purchased to use with a 13" iPad Pro M4 and Magic Keyboard case rather than a regular laptop. I wanted something non-slip and comfortable that would protect the case from being damaged by the surface it was placed on, while also being portable. I'm very pleased with the grippiness of the material - the iPad doesn't slide around at all. It looks quite nice with the subtle crosshatch texture and is easy to wipe clean too. It's surprisingly thin, but seems to be well reinforced internally and doesn't flex. This gives it a bit of weight, but that's a good thing as it doesn't slide around and the device feels secure when the stand needs to be picked up and moved. Initially, I didn't like the fact it's quite a bit wider than my iPad (approx 8cm), as this meant I'd need to buy a new laptop bag to carry everything in. However, in use I've found the size has turned out to be pretty much perfect, so I'm happy with the small trade-off. The Magic Keyboard case doesn't allow for a great variety of viewing angles, so I was worried the angles on the stand would be too high and mean the screen would be tilted down. I'm happy to say this is not the case and on the lowest angle, the iPad screen remains at an excellent angle for desktop and lap use. The higher angles are handy if you're lying in bed as it points the display down. Most laptop stands have a hard lip to prevent the device slipping off, these tend to stick up and interfere with typing. This stand, however, has a soft popup lip (more like a tab) that lays flush until needed, made with the same material as the rest of the stand. This is particularly good with the Magic Keyboard case, which has a somewhat delicate exterior covering that extends slightly beyond the keyboard and is prone to damage when pressure is applied directly to it. With this stand, the keyboard slides slightly under the soft lip and the exterior case material does not come into contact with it at all. The lip also does something very useful - because it holds the device in place as well as simply preventing slippage, it stops the iPad tipping backwards (a known problem with the Magic Keyboard case on the larger iPad Pro). As such, the iPad remains rock solid in position regardless which angle it's set at and even if you have it on your lap! The lip does overlap the trackpad by a millimetre or two, but it doesn't interfere with usage or cause accidental clicks. The stand also works surprisingly well with just the bare iPad. Being wider than the iPad, it provides great stability and a place to rest your hands. While you can only have low angles when used this way (so not ideal for watching media), it is still very practical for typing and drawing. The stand sits well on any surface, hard or soft, and is also comfortable to use on the lap. When not in use, it is completely flat making it easy to transport and store. The extendable mouse mat is of no use with the iPad / Magic Keyboard setup, but it is handy to pop my phone on, or anything else small that I want to keep off the table surface. In conclusion, this is a fantastic stand for use with the iPad Pro and Magic Keyboard. It has been thoughtfully designed, is very sturdy and the finish/materials are of good quality. I've written this review while using it on my lap - it's been extremely comfortable and the angle is perfect. I really can't fault it!

Il titolo parla di vassoio,ma in realta' e' uno stand portatile completo di tappetino estrabile per il mouse.Si adatta perfettamente sia ai pc portatili,ma pure per i tablet.Grazie alle inclinazioni disponibili(3 settaggi) e' possibile utilizzare i nostri dispotivi sia per lavorare ,ma anche per visionare dei filmati o foto comodi sul divano o letto.Una volta chiuso occupa poco spazio,risulta piatto e quindi ben posizionabile in un armadio,piuttosto che borsa/zaino. Supporto originale e pratico,sicuramente puo' essere un valido acquisto personale,ma pure una valida idea regalo.Promosso ,da provare!

Ich nutze den Stand für mein Samsung Galaxy Book 5pro 360 in 16" und die Größe ist genau richtig. Die Verstellbarkeit gut gewählt und hält den Laptop sehr gut. Die Größe der Mausablage ist auch ausreichend. Ich nutze den Artikel auf der Couch und im Bett.
