This game is a lot of fun.

I've played this game for many years and it's always fun, especially with new people. It's fun for kids and adults alike.

I like the idea of creating versions of classic Hasbro games for older adults to play. It looks like that's exactly what "Ageless Games", the company that created this game, had in mind. They also have specialized versions of Scrabble, Life, and Trivial Pursuit.It looks like Ageless Games works under a license from Hasbro, so the game pieces, instructions, and playing cards all look great, just like the originals.I like that the "taboo" words are slightly larger (although not much) than the original. And I like the references from the 1960s and 1970s, such as "Marlon Brando", "Sears", "Psycho", and "Godfather". If you have a crowd of Boomers and Gen Xers, they'll love it.The main issue I have with this particular game (which is likely a similar situation with the others) is that it seems to needlessly change the rules of the iconic Hasbro game for no apparent reason. For example, they took the tried-and-true formula of Taboo and inserted....Charades cards? I guess in some board room somewhere someone came up with the idea of combining Taboo and Charades, but even though both games involve "not talking" they're completely different games that don't really fit together and IMO adds unnecessary confusion.The other disconnect for me is that the game is supposedly for people aged "13 to 103", but ask a 9 year old what "Sears" is and you'll get blank stares. I can see this game being a pretty big hit (if you take out the Charades cards and make it normal "Taboo") in a setting like an active adult community or a senior home...but it's not exactly accessible for younger players. They also have blank Taboo cards, as if they knew that this issue would come up and you'd have to customize cards to help one side not have too big an advantage.To be honest, I think the older people in our family would much prefer to play the original Taboo or the original Charades with us, maybe with a magnifying glass to help them read the words. I'm not sure if this game really made it better, and it may have made it worse.That said, like I said the cards and the playing pieces are decent quality, as you'd expect from a Hasbro licensee. In the right setting and with the right crowd this game could be a ton of fun.

Absolutely fun game! The buzzer keeps everyone laughing. We have played with other couples and kids. So great for kids and adults.

Great fun, love the addition of some blanks cards and some action words!

Taboo is one of my husbands favorite games but we don’t own it. We have played it with my parents and borrow it from them on game nights. I finally decided to purchase my husband his own for our house. The game includes 420 cards with a word that players have to guess. The player that knows the word has to get his or her team to guess the word without saying the list of words on the other side of the card. If a word on the card is said the buzzer is buzzed and the turn is lost. While reading the instructions I realized that we have been playing the game incorrectly because you are not supposed to speak but I like our little spin on it. This game always ensures a fun game night full of laughter.

Can't go wrong with Taboo. And these cards are sturdy, and easy to read. Always a hit at friend get togethers!!!
