Since the first application, this mask and its intensive repair system have transformed my hair. I felt my hair softer, more manageable, and visibly stronger in just one minute of use. The scent is pleasant and not overwhelming, and it leaves the hair shiny, without residue or greasy feeling. My damaged tips look better and the frizz is definitely controlled, a purchase that is worth every penny.

For starters, I have very damaged hair. It’s not been processed at all, no blow drying ever, it’s just very long hair that’s been growing for 10+ years with no trims in all that time. I refuse to get my hair trimmed so my hair looked very rough and dry with lots of split ends. The roughness of my hair, especially near the ends, didn’t feel or look nice and made brushing, combing and detangling my hair a nightmare, even with conditioners, oils and detangling spray.I saw this product recommended in a video and decided to give it a try as the person whose video I watched raved about it. The price was another plus because it’s very affordable too. I was skeptical that any one product would help my old, damaged hair but I was wrong. So very, very wrong.This product, Dove Intensive Repair, has completely transformed my hair after just one use. My years old, dry, rough hair with horrible split ends that would get tangled if I just looked at it wrong is now smooth, silky, soft and shiny. I can’t get over how nice my hair looks and feels. I didn’t even have to use my detangling spray after washing my hair because it’s like this product erased or prevented any tangles from even forming. It’s made combing, brushing and braiding my hair a dream.The product is very easy to use. Wash and condition your hair as normal, using any shampoo and conditioner you like (this product’s label says to use Dove shampoo and conditioner but I didn’t and it still works great). Then, after you rinse the conditioner out of your hair squeeze as much water out of your hair as possible and apply this repair treatment from midway down your hair (so not on your scalp) and all the way to the ends. The label says to leave it on for 1 minute then rinse but I left it on for 3 minutes because my hair is so damaged and it worked beautifully.The only drawback to this wonderful product is that it does have a lot of fragrance in it. It’s a pleasant perfumed scent but it’s strong so if you’re sensitive to perfume it might not be for you. If they had a fragrance-free version it would be absolutely perfect but even with the fragrance it’s still a winner and I’m so glad I gave it a try. Dove Intensive Repair is truly a miracle cure for rough, dry, damaged hair.

This stuff has done wonders for my hair! I have really long, curly hair, so if my hair gets dry, it starts to looks frizzy and stringy. But one use of this improves the look of my hair tremendously. I use it once or twice a week and it keeps my hair healthy, moisturized, and shiny! It also rinses out easily and doesn’t leave my scalp greasy. And it smells really good once it is rinsed out. I would definitely recommend!

I love what this mask did to my hair!!!! It made my hair soo soft and shiny for days!!! Super easy to use, instructions are right there on the bottle. Quality is 10/10. Super effective!! Great price!!! Only downfall is the smell is a little overwhelming.

FANTASTIC! This hair mask is so good quality and left my hair feeling soft, silky, and amazing! Made my hair have a total refresh from inside to out! It was affordable, cheap and goof quality. It was easy to use and very helpfull when storing. It made my hair moist and less greasy!

I have tried mini hair masks including several Sephora. This hair mask hands down is one of my favorite hair masks I've ever used. My hair is very soft when I use it. My hair is very very silky when I use it. I like that it only takes a few minutes in the shower instead of some masks that take 20 minutes or longer. By the time I'm finished with my everything shower it's been enough time I can rinse it out and still get the benefits of the product. The product instructions say to only leave it in for a minute but I personally leave it in for a few minutes. It also smells good but is not overpowering. Lastly, I have sensitive skin especially on my face and neck and some products that touch those areas can cause me to break out in a rash or pimples. I do not have either of these problems with this Dove product! Good job Dove!

I added a picture of the Yuka rating if this is important to you. It would be great if the ingredients were a bit better but I’m satisfied with this overall.The smell is divine and you only need a little with each use.My understanding is that this mask contains protein and with a hair type like mine (2b and fine) I shouldn’t be using a protein mask more than a couple times a month.With that being said I love the way it reduces frizz and helps my hair stay soft and shiny. I think the value is great, it’s like a salon grade product.
