The Olight O'Pen Mini 2 is fantastic! It's the perfect size – not too bulky – and writes incredibly smoothly with great ink. It writes just as well as my $30 cross pen for half the cost and I prefer this size instead now I didn't know I needed this size pen in my life until this O pen. I'm curious about where to find refills for both the pen and pencil. The trigger action to extend the pen is smooth and satisfying. The metal body seems like it could be put up to the test, and with stand anything. For half the cost of my cross pen it definitely seems more durable. I love everything about it! Five stars! The ability to switch between pencil and pen, makes it ease views so I don’t have to pick up a pen, pencil and pen at the same time. Great value.

Built really well, I imagine it has a little break in period. It has a ball point blank in that comes with it. That rights smooth, I'll change that out eventually. See the pictures for size comparison. Small than I thought, but will work great for an EDC. It's sleek, small and will make for conversion I am sure.

This is a magnificent writing and drawing instrument in almost all aspects. Being very compact in all three dimensions it lends itself well to an EDC kit. The black ink flows smoothly. Allowing for extremely fine, precision drawing and doodling. The pencil tip performs admirably at work or play. However, being the finish is so polished and slick I find myself constantly wetting my fingers to maintain a firm, solid grip on the pen end. This is why I had to knock off a star on this otherwise exceptionally well built product. Some knurling for grip would be nice.

I love this pen and have used it daily for about 4 months. It writes smoothly, although not as nice as gel pen. It marks on many surfaces, and seems like a good capacity- I haven’t had to refill it yet! The mechanism is easy to operate with one hand. The two things I appreciate most on the pen is the length and the side operated bayonet clicker. The pen is long enough to hold in my medium to large hands, but not so long as to get pushed out of my pocket when I sit down. The side clicker means it doesn’t get opened in my pocket accidentally and bleed all over the inside. The pencil is nice, but I’ve only used it a couple of times. In my opinion, this pen is perfect for incidental daily pocket use, but personally opt for a full size gel pen if I need to write more than a few lines.

I already own a couple gadgets from this brand and know how durable their stuff is, so when I saw they made this pen — which, by the way, is also a pencil — I had to grab one. If you're into EDC, this pairs perfectly with a pocket notebook and fits comfortably in your pocket. It has a sturdy clip for securing it to your pocket or bag, and it’s extremely lightweight so you barely notice it’s there. The ballpoint ink writes smoothly, just as you'd expect. I haven’t used the pencil function much yet, but it works well in my quick tests. Bonus points for the extra pencil tips the company includes — a thoughtful touch in case you run out. If you want something compact, functional, and reliable, this is a great addition to your everyday carry.

First of all, the build quality is spectacular for a pen like this. It feels like a high-end pen. Whenever using it in class or work, people would always compliment the pen and then it flips their mind whenever I show them that it’s a pencil as well too. My only nag about it is how small of the pen is but I already knew what I was getting into whenever I was buying it so I’m not gonna take any starts off for that. It’s not my go to pen to write, but it’s definitely an eye catcher. The writing is just so smooth is probably one of the smoothest pens I use and that’s why I like writing with it. But it’s just too small and it hurts my hand when I have to write too long. Overall, it’s great.

Good size, impressively light weight yet feels sturdy in the hand, and writes well. Easy to change from pencil to pen.
