This solar powered night light charges it's battery automatically under the sun then comes on automatically at night and lasts for 8 hours per charge. This model is not motion-sensing. This lights are perfect for my white vinyl fence
I had been looking for some lights that would be small but at the same time bright. This lights are perfect for my white vinyl fence. I seen the reviews and still took the chance in buying 27 lights. They are reasonably priced. The the battery supplied does not last longer than 3 hours at most. With that said I bought the amazon rechargeable batteries (https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B00HZV9WTM/ref=sr_ph_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1489206047&sr=sr-1&pi=AC_SX236_SY340_FMwebp_QL65&keywords=AmazonBasics) and all lights last all night. I guess I will have to follow back in a few weeks I hope that they do the job for a while.

Don't waste your time.
Even when it gets sunlight for several hours it does not stay "on" for more than a half hour. Very disappointed.

Placed in sun all day but only 2 hour after dark.
The battery only lasts about two hours after dark. Oh well we learn by our mistakes.

QUALITY SOLAR LIGHT
I love this solar night light with automatic sensor. Our outside light keeps burning out bulbs so I thought it would be nice to try out something which would not burn out and also save us a little money. This works great just to light up an outside area and either attaches to a solid surface with screws.The unit is wireless and weather proof. It comes with a Ni-MH battery that they say will last at least 4 years from proven testing. This should be charged by the sun at least every 3 months I would think by the unit being turned to off while charging.In short it is a neat little solar light that is worth the buy!If my remarks have helped in any way please click on yes and thank you.I have received this product at a reduced cost for my honest thoughts which I have given. Studies have shown that a well lit front area is a good risk reducer
While i'm not so worried about zombies at night- I am worried about the current break-in's on our street. My husband works graves which means that I am the only one home with the kids and need deterrents. Studies have shown that a well lit front area is a good risk reducer. I only wish that it was able to be attached without screws as we are renters.I received this product discounted in exchange for my honest review.
