WORKED GREAT!!

Housing is substantial, well made and a good design, though has some mold parting lines exist along the length of the body both sides and end - took a file and smoothed them off. Threads for adjusting the spark gap on the gap set are well done - though would have preferred a brass design. The markings on the body don’t do anything for me. Just a reference point. I set a gap using a drill bit and leave it. I did add an oring to the shaft to help the screw from accidentally being changed once a setting has been made. Wire length is sufficient for any small engine. Insulation on the wire and clamp boot are great material - Very flexible. Wire clamp has nice teeth and holds secure for a good ground. However the wire insulation was not stripped and soldered for attachment. The wire was inserted into the clamp with insulation and staked. My ohm meter showed continuity, so cheap but effective manufacturing. The spark plug electrode appears to be a brass alloy with the shaft molded into the housing and well machined. In the end is a pressed in piece to connect to the spark plug and is free to rotate. For the price a great buy - I bought two. I am sure a friend will want one.

Got this after being disappointed by the simpler tester - this one is fantastic...! Clearly showing the sparking power and quality by enabling gap adjustments and clearly showing the sparking color.

It does what it's supposed to do and is accurate

Pretty intuitive little tool. I needed to confirm that my UTV was getting spark. I know you can just pull the plug and ground it to see the same thing, but my plug was difficult to access. All I had to do was pull the plug wire and connect it to the tester, connect the ground clip, and voila! It worked. Also let me position myself where I could see the plug wire while turning the key. Glad I bought this little tool.

Fast delivery, is as described. Worked flawlessly. Four star rating…… out of packaging. Looked as if it had been returned previously.
