Great purchase
Perfect set and really durable. Easy to pack for travel or use at home. The mug keeps the temperature warm for a long time or cold if that’s what you’re looking for. Taste is great and easy to use. The filter washes out really easy. The drip coffee container fits many mugs and wide mouth mason jars so versatility is there. Just make sure your coffee grounds aren’t too fine.

Well-designed and versatile
Why did you pick this product vs others?:When I travel, I rarely find coffee that satisfies my palate, particularly in the meager offerings in hotel rooms. Since my brewing preference is the "pour-over" method, I bring sealed containers of freshly-ground beans from my kitchen. This Stanley brewing device with its integral stainless filter and 12-ounce cup produces a great cup of coffee, similar to what I enjoy at home. The only variables are water quality and temperature, but part of that quandary is solved by a collapsible electric boiler that I pack in my suitcase. The Stanley brewer is unbreakable, easily rinsed, and stowable-- and so far, has not created any delays at baggage check-ins.

Easy to use and clean. Excellent coffee!
Just had my first cup from this gem! It developed a rich and full flavor from course ground coffee beans. And cleaned up easily, going to make another as soon as I'm done doing this review.

Camp or every day coffee
I didn’t buy this to camp with. I don’t camp. I do make coffee though!Basically, I’ve used a stainless pour over coffee maker for at least 15 years. I love the system. What I didn’t love was the need for a paper filter (yes, those other pour over systems require filters or they clog and stop working). I also got tired of my coffee getting cold because i rarely get to just sit through an entire cup of coffee in the morning. Enter Stanley.First off, this is quality stuff. Fine made cup and pour over filtration. Beautiful stuff. You do want to learn how to make good coffee in this or you’re going to be disappointed. No matter if you use a regular tea kettle or one with a gooseneck (more on that), pour slowly. Basically just slowly wet the grounds with the first pour. Follow that slow pour throughout to as not to agitate the grounds anymore than you have to. It leaves less sludge in the bottom of your coffee in the end. If you can afford a gooseneck kettle, get one. It makes the process so much easier with a gentle stream of water.I basically do not put the cover on the cup immediately unless I need to leave it to do something else before that first sip. It’s just too hot and you will burn your lips. I do put the lid on when it starts to cool and it really does keep coffee at a good temp for plenty of time to enjoy. Not hours, but long enough to not end up drinking cold coffee. The plus to having a paper filter is that it’s easy to dispose of. The downside to a paper filter is cost and waste. You’ll learn to avoid the little sludge left at the bottom quickly enough and realize that it actually makes your coffee better in a subtle way. This reminds me of a camp percolator coffee pot. It basically makes the same kind of coffee, sludge and all and uses the same principle idea of hot water moving slowly through coffee grounds.Note: Do not use fine ground coffee. Bad! :-(

Great little coffee maker
Great for off grid camping when you just have hot water to make coffee. It definitely gets less grounds in the cup than our French press, which I appreciate. Metal, sturdy not tippy, comfortable handle, easy to use lid.

My camp coffee set
Arrived on time and works as described. My camp coffee set. Can't beat it. You can make just a cup or a whole vacuum bottle for a crowd. I find it easy to empty and clean. No filters.
