Works great on carpet. I have a very low pile carpet and my vacuum is a cheap cordless that hardly picks up; it may be for hard floors. I went over the carpet last night again with my new Shark Navagator (better vacuum). 8 hours later I went over the carpet lightly raking a 3’ circumference and you can see in the photo how the find hairs accumulate. The item is as described; easy to use, light weight, long handle, no need to use a lot of pressure; just light raking. Less than 5-minutes time to complete. Im impressed how this picks up the extra hair in the carpet. I didn’t even go over the whole carpet. 4-dogs in the house (3 in the photo) so I get a lot of dog hair and dust.

Works so well and was shocked at the amount of fur it pulled up for the rug. Easy to put together, use and clean off. Good quality and worth the money. Saw some reviews of it bending but haven’t personally come across this seeming to happen. Used both the big and small one and they work so great to pick up dog and cat fur!

Omg, a Great Product if you have a 100 lb Hair Ball like, Stella, my Crazy German Shepherd. Every Step, you can see the hair flying off of her. This Hair Rake really works, I only wish I could teach her how to use it, lol. Seriously, you need this. It really does work..and I'm 73 and I find it really easy to use.. I have a rug that refuses to be vacuumed. I have cats (2 that are medium hair, one that’s black and one that’s grey/white) and my light colored and short pile rug constantly looks dirty because of these free loaders. I wanted to try the Uproot brand but they’re SO expensive. I saw these, loved the color, and liked that it also came with a handheld.The long brush is great. I can take parts off to make it a handheld, and it gets all this hair up. The rug looks fantastic and it’s stupid satisfying.The handheld is the only reason why I take off a star. I figured it’d be the same kinda “bristles” as the long one but they’re not. It’s much rougher and I have very few places I can use it without feeling like I’m ripping up the fabric. I usually just detach the long handled and use that.Very sturdy, I do have to press kinda hard but that’s mostly due to my rug and not the item itself. Love the color. Very happy with it.

I saw this on a pop-up ad and thought I would give it a try. I didn't expect much; but boy was I surprised! It really picks up the pet fur! Granted, it does not work on all types of carpet (not Berber or Loop or a rag rug), but it works like magic on regular pile. My area rugs look brand new after the cloud of pet fur has been removed. And the hand tool worked wonders on my stair runner. Highly recommend for pile carpet and area rugs.

Works like a dream! I purchased this type and the rubber brush type and this is hands down the best! I have a Shepard with long white hair iykyk! It is the right height to use and pulls all the hair into a line or pile. This is my dream come true. So easy now to keep the carpets clear of hair. Feels super durable in the handle more so than the rubber brush one I purchased.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:I purchased this because of the lower % of one-star reviews compared to similar products. Pretty much all of the 1 star reviews were about the shodiness and flimsiness of the product and that it didn't work.I received it in a same-day delivery without having to pay extra shipment.I put it together in about 2 minutes. It comes with 4 segments of handle, I only needed 3 as I'm only 5'3".It works beautifully. 1. You don't have to push down very forcefully. A slight push will do the trick and the handle doesn't buckle at all.2. Do not expect to remove all the hair in one go, it will not work. No matter how much you push on it.3. Go first "with the grain" of the carpet, remove all you can - do not do multiple passes at this stage.4. Vacuum5. Do one more pass.6. Beautiful carpet without pet hair.This is valid for both thin and thick carpets. I don't have woven rugs so I have no idea how it would work on those.The small implement - I wasn't that enthused about. I would only use it on velvet-type upholstery. On the cat tree, the carding brush I have works way better.Tbh the carding brush works exceptionally well on the carpets too, the problem is that it's not a long handle, and at my age and with my multiple health issues I can't do the bending for an hour to clean all the carpets in the house. Hence I tried this. I'm happy with it.
