I'm returning this item!What I liked:I loved how this clip stayed flat to my head, making leaning back more comfortable than a claw clip.These clips are very cute and aesthetic.What I didn't like:I had to adjust this clip every 5 minutes. I have long, thick(er) yet fine hair, and this clip was unable to keep my hair in place.Also, after one day of use, one of the teeth on this clip had a white distress mark at the base, causing me to question the durability of the product.While I had high hopes for these cute clips, I found them to be not worth the money.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:These combs (comes with two) are nice. They feel like they will be sturdy enough and my thick hair fits in them perfectly. They are a little hard to open once you get them closed. Easy enough to close. They don't feel like they will break as easily as another kind I also bought. Overall I would say good value for the price and I will probably buy again.UPDATE: I am revising my star rating from 5 to 3. I have worn these several times and they do NOT hold up my thick hair. They will be going in the garbage. I bought some shorter ones that I thought wouldn't work as well as these and they work better.

These are exactly what I was looking for! Solid price and a very acceptable quality. At first, I did have a little bit of trouble figuring out which end to open... I'm not sure if there would've been negative fallout if I had tried to open the other end. This one is much sturdier than the one I bought at Claire's 15 years ago. The colors are very neutral and it has a nice sleek look they don't look cheap by any means. The teeth are pretty sturdy too. I've had it in for maybe an hour, but all I've been doing is sitting. So far I'm really impressed with it though. I got the best results by throwing my hair in a loose ponytail first, and then clipping it in. It felt more secure when I focused on getting hair towards the top into the teeth near the top where it closes.

So glad I happened upon these in tiktok. I love the way it looks. It pulls your hair out of your face while still making it look thick and voluminous. While it was difficult to open at first, the more you use it the easier it gets. Overall it was good quality plastic. I would purchase again.
