My 15 month old son started climbing out of the crib and no matter what we tried we couldn’t get him to stay in. So, after months of agonizing and trying to figure out our best solution, we decided to ditch the crib, put his mattress on the floor and completely baby proof everything in his room. We locked his drawers, his closet and took out most of the small decor I had on his shelves. We then put this on the door and we used it to keep him in his room rather than letting him roam the house unsupervised (if he woke up in the middle of the night.) I think I had a hard time at first because I felt bad that we had to lock him in his room, like i was being a bad parent or something, but it worked out perfectly and we’re back to having a boy sleep through the night. He rarely comes to the door to let himself out anymore, but he just turned two so we still have it on as a precaution. I think it’s a great tools to use on doors that kids aren’t welcome in.

These were easy to put on , easy for adult use , kept kids safe , perfect size for the doors , very sticky . It was hard to take it off , so i had to leave it . Love this to keep kids out of things and to keep them safe

Ease to install and works great!

Big day today! After almost 5 years, we no longer need these and took them off the doors. They came off pretty painlessly with a hair dryer and old credit card. Didn’t damage the doors at all. They worked great! I don’t think we’ll ever need them again, but if we do, I’d buy again in a second.

Very easy to install and works well

I needed to dog proof the door between my house and the garage because my German Shepherd figured out how to open it and let herself out. She only does this when I am not home, so I only use the lever lock on the garage side of the door. Works perfectly.
