Although this is a review of a free product, I give you my word that my reviews will always be unbiased and truthful.I knocked it down one star due the hardness of the plastic. I am used to toys being made form a plastic that is a bit flexible. This is made form a hard plastic that feels fairly brittle. It won't surprise me to have my kid coming up to me with broken pieces to glue back together. As it comes, there are no little separate pieces that would be a choking hazard. The truck and helicopter both use 3 AG13 button cell batteries, which are included (be sure to pull the little plastic pull tabs to active them). The friction motor in the ruck cab works well, and I am sure that overall, it will be a hit.

It's great size, large enough for 3 to 8 year olds to use, but not so large that it's unwieldy or bulky. The car and helicopter are lightweight and easy to carry. The helicopter has the most pieces and is the most likely piece to break, but it's constructed well. The colors are bright and there are no rough edges. Putting the trailer on the truck does require a bit of force, but holds solidly. The tires are rubber, which is a nice surprise. The kid in me wants to keep this, but it's intended as a gift for the local library. It does include lights and sounds, but we may not activate those features for the library use.

This is not some little set, it's good sized and gives kids a better feeling of "real" than smaller items tend to do. The truck, copter and car are all well made, great colors and there's an attention to the detailing that makes this appear more expensive than the actual price point. The truck and car roll easily and the helicopter is fun to use. Both the car and copter use button batteries that are included and easy to activate and replace when necessary. This is intended as a Santa gift for our 5 year old grandson and I can hardly wait to play with it with him. Good value.

The media could not be loaded. This three piece set is a wonderful gift idea for Christmas, birthdays, awards, or any occasion. The set includes a flat bed semi, a compact car, and helicopter. I ordered the police style of this product. All of the units have a blue color and the words “police” written on them. The cars are visually appealing with all sorts of patterns and logos. I received a similar set like this before, but that set required me to put all the stickers on the vehicles myself. This set of cars came with all of the stickers and logos attached to them. The only assembly required was attaching the back gate piece and the flatbed to the semi. The semi truck and helicopter both have lights and sounds. They also came with batteries inside of them. All I had to do was pull out the piece of paper to get the battery to work. The batteries required are smaller than AAA or AA. My son is currently two years old and he loves this set. The quality of the plastic and parts is average. There is no volume control. The current price of $49.99 seems much too high based on the quality of the toy. The toys function as they would in reality. The size is ideal for children.
