Boruit U6 £34.19 after discount Reminding me a bit like a pair of binoculars this light looked so different I could not resist buying it though the price for what is essentially a quite large keyring torch made me think seriously before investing in it as I have others that do the same job. The plastic body it is a very nice, tough plastic and the white colour compliments the black of the metal head very stylishly. I find it a very aesthetically pleasing light to look at. The two main lights seem to operate together and each has 3 domed emitters so 6 in all. Online sources suggest the light has SST20's in 3030 packages but I don't know enough to know what effect this has. The in built battery is stated in my manual as a 1100mah 18350 size so this is quite good for a small light, though for the price I would have preferred a replaceable battery even though this is unusual in these flat style keyring torches. A side light with cool and warm white options give off a decent amount of light and provide a pretty good effect especially when used as a desk light. The red is quite bright for a keyring light and flashing red completes the choices Tested in my home made test box I got over the claimed 1600lm , though it does ramp down quite quickly. Nonetheless it is rare I get a reading on my amateur test gear that gets above the advertised lumens.( I also have a Boruit EV10 and got 1000lm recorded out of the 1100 promised so full marks to Boruit for realistic claims) The clip is solid and reversible so can be clipped to a belt or used as a headlamp on a cap. There is a strong enough magnetic tail powerful enough to mount the light horizontally. Despite my initial minor niggles about the in built battery and the price this is getting an Amazon rating of 5 stars from me as it is the most pleasing light I have bought in a long while and is the brightest and best for runtime “key-chain” light I own. I have a similarly priced Rovyvon currently on my key ring which has the advantage of being smaller and having a changeable AAA alongside the built in battery. I like this option and it may well compete on run times with the U6 but with a lot less brightness overall. To be honest I think the Boruit is far too pretty to run the risk of damage on a key chain so it will probably end up attached to my belt for now.

A super cool flash light its very bright but does not have alot of throw. The aux light set are awesome because one is more of a natural light that helps of your filming a upclose Video or are looking at various color shades to see the difference.
