I Did Not Care For Centers
Being that I like to try new foods and flavors, when I saw this mango flavored candy available from Vine, I requested it and here we are. This review is for: Pulse Candy Pouch Pack | Kachcha Aam Bulk Individually Wrapped | Premium Quality Mango Fruit Flavored With Tangy Twist | DS Group Authenticated Pouch Pack - 3.53 OzThis package arrived quickly and safely with no damage. Now, to be honest, I had and still do not have any idea what Kachca Aam is. Do you? If so, you are going into this candy with more knowledge than I did. Each candy is individually wrapped inside the bag.I unwrapped one of these and tried it out. At first I enjoyed it. It tasted like the mango that I usually enjoy, but not quite as sweet. I thought that was a bit weird, since this is supposed to be candy and to Americans, candy means sweet. Then, I hit the middle of the candy. I do not know what that is inside there, but I absolutely hated the taste of it.Like, really hated it. So much so, I spit out the rest.I should have been prepared, I guess, since it says it right there in the description about a tangy twist. Well, it was a twist alright and I wouldn't call it tangy, exactly. Price wise, this candy seems reasonable and a decent value. I don't need to worry about that however, because I won't be eating any more of these.I tried to keep my rating objective, in spite of my personal feelings about this candy. It was professionally presented, and produced, as far as I can tell. The packaging is solid and with the candy being individually wrapped, I feel that the company takes safety seriously. If I only liked it, I could give it 5 stars, but I'm going to leave my rating at 4 stars because everything else seemed to be top notch.

Tangy Little Treats That Pack a Punch
This Pulse Candy pouch is full of that classic kachcha aam (raw mango) flavor with a bold, masaledar (spicy-tangy) center that hits just right. Each piece is individually wrapped, making it easy to share or stash for later. The balance of sweet and tangy keeps it interesting—and honestly, it's hard to stop at just one. Great as a nostalgic snack or a fun treat to pass around. The 100g pack isn’t huge but perfect for sampling.

A flavour journey I would never take again.
TL;DR: These are nasty. If I could rate these candy zero stars, I would. One star is too generous — it's only there because Amazon won't let me rate it any lower.I don’t know what I expected when I bought these, but “rotting fruit soaked in sour milk and stored in a haunted attic” was not it. And that’s the outside layer of these green, individually wrapped, little -treats-. It starts off -confusing- and quickly turns offensive. Like, imagine a flavour that makes your eyebrows try to escape your face from all the furrowing they will do.But then — oh, then — you reach the center. Ya’ll, I have eaten and tasted some weird stuff: dog treats, cat food, grass, expired dairy products, accidentally mothballs to name a few. And I pride myself on trying new things. But this? This was an experience. A very -bad- experience. I now feel the need to be more cautious in my life… The inside somehow manages to be both powdery and like the spray from an aerosol can – a bit like licking the angry ghost of a ruined spice rack. It tasted like salt, baking soda, something vaguely chemical, and existential dread. There was no curry. There was no tang. There was only darkness.I made the mistake of sharing these with friends and family. No one finished a full piece. One person started crying. Several spit it out immediately. The rest suffered until the center, at which point they too gave up. I may have lost some friends. In fairness, this may be a cultural flavour profile that simply doesn’t translate well to my more Western palate with our milder flavours even when it comes to curry and such. I legit respect that. Taste is subjective. Somewhere in the world, someone probably enjoys these. I just am unable to.

not for me
VileThat's how my 13-year-old describes it. I didn't even know he knew that word. He's not wrong though. The candy has an unusual, sort of grassy flavor. By mango, I think they mean green mango; it's not wrong, and it's actually pretty good. The problem is the stuff inside. It's salty and like curry and anise. It's truly horrible. I get that I'm not the target audience, but don't expect this to be the next big candy craze. There will always be people who like stuff like this - and I will never be one of them. Quality is good and the packaging top notch.

Fine at first, but the 'twist' isn't for me
Always game to try new things, I ordered this Pass Pass Pulse Mango Candy with ‘Tangy Twist.’ My wife likes mango, I like mango lassi, we just sliced up a mango to eat a couple days ago. Unfortunately, these little hard green candies don’t taste anything like any mangoes we have ever had. The sweet green candy part wasn’t too bad, but the longer we sucked on them, the more that ‘tangy twist’ flavor came through. We tried to figure out what flavor it was exactly, maybe some chili or curry or garam masala? The bag only says ‘SPICES’ so that was no help. Our kid gets a pass for spitting it out before he got anywhere near the center, and us grownups really tried to make it through, but the center just got more and more unpleasant until we also had to spit ours out. And then immediately had to find some other food to put in our mouths so we could leave the taste behind.I see these are manufactured in India and I am curious if it’s a specific flavor combo that’s common there. I just can’t tell if it’s supposed to be an acquired taste or whether these are just not tasty no matter what. I feel like I’m missing that context so I hesitate to give these one star. I’ll put it in the middle because outside was fine. But I do know that this flavor isn’t for me.
