What's the difference between the pack of 3 and the pack of 1?

Well, Pack of three is Bulk pack, you may get better price when you buy pack of 3, Pack of one is original standard pack as single.

is this good for stubble after clippering ?

I am not totally sure what stubble clippering is?? I have used this Aftershave balm for years after shaving with an electric razor. It works fine for me.

If this is meant to be a pack of 6 why did Amazon just send one item?

Yes me too! So I sent back for a refund! False advertising!

Does this work as a preshave balm?

Yes it does. It is excellent and gives a lovely smooth shave with my electric shaver. I have used it for a few years now and prefer it to shaving gels etc.
