I ordered this crate yesterday (2nd Jan) and it arrived this morning . Amazing service considering yesterday was a bank holiday and it was free delivery too.The crate is much like others I have had previously from other companies with the added bonus of side and front openings. It literally takes less than one minute to assemble it. It just unfolds.Very spacious and plenty of room for my Patterdale terrier.. The free mat however is pointless as its so thin a handkerchief would be as useful. But as I will be buying proper dog mattress it hardly matters.Great product. Great delivery service and great price.

I purchased this product after carefully looking at the reviews with specific reference to dimensions. I wanted a cage that was the right size and specifications to fit at the back of my car to transport my cocker spaniel. The dimensions are indeed (L x W x H) at 76cm (30") x 53cm (21") x 60cm (24") and the hinges are indeed on the right hand side of each door if looking at the cage (on the left if looking out from inside the cage). However, the doors are not as desribed by one of amazons customers. The larger door is on the long edge of the cage (L) and the smaller door (W) but it is NOT to the LEFT left of the long edge but to the RIGHT of the long edge. I was going to return it but after looking at the product carefully, I was able to prise open the loops on the bottom edges of both ends, swapped both ends and with pliers closed the loops back up for a solid fit. This can be done by a reasonably competent DIY'er with a screwdriver and pliers. Given that this was done with some ease, I can understand that it might not hold the most determined dog as some viewers have suggested but it is solid enough as a holding pen . It is perfect for keeping a dog in the car but perhaps on the small size for a cocker if being used for the house. I hope this helps.

A basic metal dog crate, functional and priced accordingly.When I unpacked the crate I noted it had scratches and dents and looks like a returned item.The thing that most concerns me is under the end door there is a big gap, more so than previous crates I've owned. A dogs paw (or muzzle) could easily become trapped or caught and twisted as the dog exits. I bought mine for the back seat of the car, consequently I will need to either return it or attach some thing solid across the bottom.It is not overly robust and only suitable for a calm dog who is used to a crate.Also of note the tray is metal, so stronger than a plastic one, I wanted light weight plastic but could live with the metal. It's OK, but I wouldn't buy again.
