What can I say, I'm on my 8th kindle. I love the kindle. I take it to appointments because sometimes you have to sit and wait, i.e. getting your oil changed, doctors or dentist appointments, beauty shop, etc. The newer one, above, sits in its thin charging cradle. It's thinner than a book, and instead of paying $7 or more for a book, I can get them for .99 cents, $1.99 or less than $5. There are thousand books to chose from at my finger tip any category, and I can do it from my couch. If there are 7 books in a series, I might only spend about $14 for all 7. I read about 7 hours a day.

Convenient size and faster than my old waterproof kindle. Buying from the kindle store is much improved and the download is super speedy. USB-C connection is great. I still prefer to search on my phone because it’s easier to compare books by the same author but different publishers (only books that are public domain). Sometimes I see a book on my phone search that I didn’t on my Kindle search (again public domain). Easy to customize fonts for personalized legibility. The case is easy to get on and it quickly charges on the stand with the case on. I purchased the greyscale version so because of negative reviews on the color model. Very satisfied with this model.

I love the kindle for its screen size,the warmth light but for its price there’s not a lot different from my older kindle which was the 10th or 11th generation (2018 model) if you need a kindle and want the space(32 GB) buy this but skip the charging dock and remember faux leather cover means plastic-$42! But otherwise wait for a sale to get the best deal.

I am used to the Oasis and prefer that unit because I do not have to touch the screen to move the pages (buttons), and I can rotate the orientation so I can hold the Kindle in either hand. I cannot do this with the newer Kindle. The screen is good, and it is a little faster than the Oasis re turning pages, but for me the disadvantages outweigh the advantages for this new Kindle. But if you don't have the Oasis, this new Kindle might make you happy.

I own and really enjoy both Kindle generations eleven and twelve There doesn't seem to be any major changes in functionality between the two devices, although the twelve is a bit faster. Some of the recent software updates have improved features overall on both. The twelfth generation Kindle has a larger screen which is noticeable and appreciated The docking station is convenient for a quick charge, and the leather cover grew on me and is now my favorite You really can't go wrong owning a Kindle. I send myself notes, grocery lists, use my local library for digital books sent to directly Kindle. My reading progress flawlesssley syncs to both Kindle's and my Mac and iPad. There is also an app available from Kindle for easy loading of notes etc by simply dragging them into the app box, and just as easy to delete old notes etc as you go. I love instantly knowing the proper pronunciation of names and regions using the Kindle app, I set one for English and one for the language I might be reading about. It is outstanding how it brings reading to life with instant access to Wikipedia, note taking and other tools, simply amazing
