A much needed improvement from my past Mac. The previous Apple computer I had was an Intel-chip Mac from about 11 years ago. Purchasing this was such a jump in speed and quality, as expected. I am not one of those that has everything Apple; in fact, this is the only Apple product in our house at the moment. Because of this, features like AirDrop and some other things that basically require you to be in the "Apple ecosystem" are of very little use (to me). But that's not too big a deal. The screen is a really nice size (bigger than my old model) and the colors are always so vibrant on Macs. The sound quality is great as well. Everything runs really smoothly so far, but I haven't run super demanding programs (like CAD) much as of yet. I helped set up a friend's and I believe their's only had 2 USB-C ports. The model I purchased has 4 ports. I don't think 2 would be enough for my needs - I'm really happy with the 4. I also like that the model I got has the Ethernet port right on the power brick. The model my friend bought didn't have the ethernet port, so they had to buy a USB-C ethernet adapter. Even though I have a Windows PC and a Pixel phone, this iMac works really well for me despite not experiencing the full-compatibility one would have if they had all Apple products (iPhone, Macbook, etc.).

I replaced my 2017 iMac with this model. It's twice as fast and has superior graphics and performance. It could have had more USB ports. Highly recommended, nevertheless.

Fantastic! Perfect for my artistic endeavours and it's even up to the task of running many process heavy programs at once with no lag. I have always loved Apple, since the days of it being Macintosh until now. Their products simply work. This is a beautifully designed desktop and the performance is top notch. I don't see why anyone shouldn't want this computer. I am definitely a happy camper. The only draw back is the incapability for using more than two external displays. It is worth the money to me.

Saved about $400 buying from Amazon Resale in mint like condition. The box was a little distressed but the description was accurate, all the packaging materials were intact and nothing seemed used. I purchased this to replace my 2020 MacBook Air M1 that I sold on Marketplace because it wasn’t getting used much. In terms of speed, the M4 doesn’t seem much different than the M1 during casual use. The screen and the speakers on the other hand are miles ahead of the MacBook. I also appreciate the fact that Apple ditched lightening cables and peripherals for USB C. The internal 512mb hard drive has some size limitations so instead of spending a fortune on upgrading to a 1tb internal, I purchased a OWC Express 1M2 40gb/s enclosure and a 2tb WD Black SN850X NVMe SSD. With this external combination I keep my photos, music and videos on it. Speed test using Black Magic is hovering around 3200 MB/s read and write which is phenomenal. For Time Machine, I purchased the Crucial X9 Pro 2tb USB C SSD drive.

Without technical assistance, it took awhile to fully use this laptop effectively vs. an older iPad that no longer functions well. Functionally, we get better use with a laptop. It's very sturdy, heavy, graphics clear, keyboard useful, the size is understandably large. we expect to use it long-term as accomplished with prior computers. Downside- expensive but upside-Amazon delivered with care...

I loved my old iMac which had an elegant 27" screen. That suddenly got extremely slow after Christmas. I bought the new iMac with 24" screen. It is much lighter but is not that elegant looking. There is no Apple icon in front. It was easy to set up. There are some new things it comes with, I am still getting used to all the automatic messages which appear on the screen. With the new iMac, the old printer did not work, I had to buy a new printer too. Hopefully, I am set up for the next 10 years.

This apple IMac 4 was amazing and best thing I could have purchased for my small business
