Can get great results, but tricky to apply.
Used it to paint a gas fireplace surround. Painted over an older coat of different paint. After shaking well, still got a second or two of poorly mixed paint so make sure to practice on another surface. After that, the paint quality was good. We had a drop of paint come out a few times, but wiped it up with a paper towel right away and repainted the area. Had a few spots where the original brass showed through the old paint and the Stovebright paint would bead up badly so make sure you prime or have a good paint base. The final paint looked great and had a very nice texture. Fire place looks new!

An excellent choice color for antique stove restoration
Why did you pick this product vs others?:This is an excellent paint for restoring antique cast iron stoves. I've been using the charcoal as an alternative to black on some restorations as it brings out the cast iron details It holds up extremely well in the hot environment. Doesn't chip or flake and easily cleaned. I highly recommend it.

Great Colors But Application Not Perfect
The variety of colors is great. I got the charcoal gray and was very pleased with the color. The only reason it lost a star is because when I was spraying it I would keep shaking it per the directions but a few times it came out in big drops and messed up two places where it landed on my fireplace insert cover. I tried carefully blotting up the extra. Even though I tried to go over those two spots, I can still see where those spots landed.

Best spray paint I've used!
I used this to paint an old brass fireplace door and it looks amazing! I've used a lot of spray paints and this one was so easy to apply. It does not gunk up or drip, it goes on super smooth and has a nice subtle shimmer finish to it. It's slightly darker than I was expecting but it still looks fabulous!

Its ok
This is definitely NOT worth $20, I should have just went with Rustoleum high heat and saved money.

No such color as "Copperfield Charcoal"
I bought this paint because it was "Copperfield Charcoal" with an unusual color that looked perfect for my project. What came to me was plain old "Charcoal" color. I would not have bought it had I known this. It's kind of a bait and switch, so I'm disappointed. However, I do like Stove Bright paints.
