Klean-Strip Quart Easy Liquid Sander Deglosser

Worked so well for bathroom remodeling project. And will be using again here soon in the kitchen. It's easy to use and does what it says. Paint stuck in one coat and had held up extremely well in high use cabinets (kids bathroom) and guest bathroom.

Worked great for a cabinet paint job I did. Deglossed about 32 cabinets doors with one bottle. 1 year later and paint still looks new.

I used this product over a very glossy textured ceiling. As another reviewer did, I rolled on the product over the entire ceiling. The only problem I had was in spots where there was too much product, it would bubble up and peel off. I used some steel wool to scratch off all the problem areas. This stuff seems to add a layer of chalky matte finish over the glossy paint rather than actually degloss the finish. With that said, the kills primer does seem to be well adhered, will post update if it peels at all.

I did a ton of research before attempting to paint my kitchen cabinets. They are a lot of good reviews and videos on using this instead of sanding but I did not see any change at all. I did as directions stated then tried letting set then tried using a scrub pad and still there was no change. This being my first attempt at painting cabinets I am afraid to not sand, I cannot afford to mess up and not like the outcome. So for me this wasn’t the way to go.

This product works great. It made cleaning my kitchen cabinets much easier to get them ready for staining.

This product was a waste of time and money. I was hoping it work as I have a 10 month old and time is very limited. I am painting our bathroom cabinets and was hoping that I could skip the step of sanding however I was wrong. The product does cover the gloss but however the paint doesn’t stick. I’m so happy that I only did the front of one door. I let it dry overnight and scratch it with my nail and the The paint came right off. So I had to sand the cabinets anyway. Just do the sanding to get the job done. You will thank me later.

I had never heard of this product and was struggling with painting all the trim in my house. It was taking forever to clean, prep and sand and even then the paint wouldn't adhere very well. I couldn't seem to get rid of the gloss. After finding this it's so much quicker and the paint sticks. I did use two coats of the liquid sandpaper. Another thing is that has no odor, like some stippers

I’ve never heard of this product and I’m so glad that I did. It made not having to sand and have all the dust so much easier on my allergies and having to clean up afterwards I recommend this product to everybody when they’re painting and if they have to sand. I can’t believe how many times I’ve had to sand and paint and I’ve never heard of this. I will definitely buy this again
