Good sound
so this is a good CD player but radio is not really covers a lot of channels. the sound is really good as the readio is not very fully covering all stations, so this is actually just a cd player. for that reason this is too big for a CD player and I wished this would come a bit smaller, streamline and with just CD player and the same lovely sound system.

Very good value
I love the ease of using this product. Looks great. I have only used the radio so far and the sound quality is ok. I have not used it with batteries yet. I would definitely recommend this product

Simple and easy to use. Good value
I brought this for a lady I help with dementia. She has loads cds and needed something simple for her to use. This fits the bill perfectly. She can happily use on her own.

Retro Cassette/CD/Radio Player
Great little unit and does the job for my old cassettes and CD's. Needed it for my 'retro look' summerhouse. Not bad sound for what it is and cost.

Will not play MP3 CDs
This Boombox portable CD player looks quite smart. The radio & speakers are fine. But the CD player is poor. It is tricky to place CDs correctly, & just as tricky to get them out. The sound is OK, but it will NOT play MP3 CDs, which for me, means it is pretty much useless. If you just need a radio, there are better ones than this on Amazon. If you need a Radio with CD player, there are better ones than this, which WILL play MP3 format CDs, for not much more cost. Information in the listing does not mention that it will not play MP3s, which is disgraceful, considering it is such an important feature. Sorry, I cannot recommend this product. Not rubbish, but useless in many ways. A poor choice on my part.
