Compact but works great
This is a lot smaller than my previous keyboard but after a couple of games I got used to it and now a few days on I much prefer it. Cool scrolling colours, swappable keys (four spare provided), extraction tool and a right angle USB C cable. Has two small feet on the back edge of the keyboard to slightly tilt it towards you which I prefer.Has it improved my gaming - no! ...... but I do prefer it. And at this price it's a bargain.

Compact and colourful
Good petite keyboard with lights.Very responsive keys, and liking the reaction with sound, lovely old fashion style. The addition RBG also added more fun to the gaming.Lovely the compact and retro feel, mixing with the modern look.Supports BT, wired or 2.4Ghz to suit your need. Also do macros with compatible software. The built quality is decent with replaceable keys.Reasonable at under £60.

Bluetooth device swapping is FN+q/w/e
I bought the board as an office keyboard for my wife. I needed something with sound dampening, wireless connectivity and portable/65%. This fits the bill perfectly.+ Pretty quiet stock config. Should work in a regular office as long as you're not too close to each other, I suspect if you swap with some good silent switches this will be an excellent office keyboard.+ Overall really happy, it's a great buy imo. Good build quality, hot swappable, decent sound dampening. Even the stock switches are pretty nice.• Colour scheme is adorable, but I can see people passing on that cause they perceive it as too femine. Don't skip this just because of that. It's a really good bang for the buck imo, you can always swap key caps.• Not the smallest 65% keyboard, it's slightly wider than my keychron K2. It's definitely not too big but if you're buying a 65% specifically for portability this may not be the best fit.- typo on the user manual, swap the Bluetooth with FN + q/w/e not 1/2/3. Not a dealbreaker but that was annoying to figure out.- no MacOS keycaps... I'd recommend looking carefully at the manual. Alt is CMD and the windows key is option.

I can't believe it's under $50!
The media could not be loaded. I have used the same Redragon gaming mouse for probably about 10 years now, so I was really excited to try this keyboard.I am really, really impressed!I opted for the Nova PRO K709 with Mint Mambo Switches and I feel like this could honestly be a new best in category for budget keyboards. You're really getting a lot here, even compared to some other Redragon offerings. My first impressions were that the board is well-made for it's price tag. It is, of course, made of plastic and is fairly light, but in this type of keyboard I think that is probably desirable for portability. It does not feel fragile or cheap at all! The build quality is significantly better than my other budget keyboards. This is also quite the feature-packed offering for only $50! You're getting tri-mode connectivity, full RBG, 5-pin hot swap sockets, gasket mounting, custom switches preinstalled, beautiful smooth shine-through PBT keycaps, and a great sounding/feeling keyboard right out of the box. There are a few features that you are missing out on with this board, but how much they matter comes down to personal preference. For example, I find myself constantly reaching for a volume knob that isn't there. I also would have personally preferred south-facing LED's instead of north-facing LEDs, but I think North Facing LED is pretty typical of gamer-oriented keyboards. The biggest issue, however, is probably the lack of VIA/QMK support. Sometimes manufacturer software is good enough, but in this case I found the Redragon software to be particularly clunky and limited.Still, even with those flaws, I found that the mix of features is excellent for the price, and the feel of this board really is excellent. The Mint Mambo switches are extremely smooth for typing, and they feel very light. They are similar to a lot of red switches on the market, but they come pre-lubed with a much smoother keypress and a shorter travel distance. They feel and sound really good. I had originally planned for new switches to be my first upgrade to this board, but I actually think I will stick with these for a while until I actually find a reason to change them out. Without a doubt, these are a major upgrade to the usual Outemu basic switches that come with these boards. The best part of this keyboard though, is how it sounds right out of the box! I got it for myself, but after hearing the sound my wife immediately decided that it would be hers until she gets her own later on. I am not sure if I'm using the lingo correctly, but I thought the sound was delightfully smooth and creamy, with a little bit of pop to it. It sounds like a slightly deeper version of building in a Lego game. I think this keyboard could also respond well to mods to make it sound even deeper and bring it into the Thocky territory. If you're budget limited and you need a great sounding and feeling entry into mechanical keyboards that's portable, versatile, and can be upgraded later, this might be the one for you. I know I will be recommending it to my friends and family in the future.SUMMARYKeyboard: Redragon Nova Pro K709Price Category: Ultra Budget ($0-75)Build Style: 65%Build Type: PlasticMounting: GaskeyKeycap Profile: Unknown - RoundedKeycap Type: Doubleshot PBT, ShinethroughSwitch Type: LinearHot Swap: 5-PinConnection Type: Tri-ModeBacklighting: Full RGBLED Direction: North FacingSoftware: ManufacturerAccessories: Rubber right angle USB C cable, switch/keycap puller, extra switches, stickersIncluded Switches: Mint MamboTyping Feel: Light, smoothStock Sound: Marbly, creamySCORESQuality: 5/5Value: 4/5Feel: 5/5Sound: 5/5Overall: 4.75/5Edit: Added a better sound test video and updated to fit my current keyboard review format.

Nice switches. Hotswappable. Good value.
I’m enjoying using this keyboard right now. The switches feel great to type on- being linear- but the force required feels slightly higher than with the typical linear red switches I’m used to. The keyboard is quiet and very pleasant to type on. No matter where I press, the keys feel quite good, especially the spacebar.I’m still getting used to such a small keyboard. If I had to identify something it’s lacking, it would be wireless modes (2.4GHz and Bluetooth). However, I believe there is a ‘Pro’ version of this keyboard available with tri-mode connectivity.I’d rate this keyboard highly for its value, especially because it’s hot-swappable. If you ever get tired of the switches, you can easily swap them out for new ones. Few manufacturers offer hot-swappable boards at this price point. While you may not get all the perks of a $200 keyboard- like custom metal or wood frames, QMK/VIA compatibility, or extra-wide layouts- this keyboard is a great way to get your feet wet before diving deeper into what mechanical keyboards have to offer.

A good budget keyboard
This is a pretty decent 65% keyboard. One neat feature is that it moves the arrow keys and the other four keys a little bit away from the main keys, this could be a good or bad thing depending on the individual. The keyboard itself is made of plastic, and is subsequently lightweight. The backlight works well, and makes the keys easy toi read (a little more difficult when backlight not present). The keys are all labeled with additional functions, which is a nice touch, and is always appreciated. One thing I really dont get, and this happens on many of the 65%+ keyboards is putting the Delete key up one row higher than is standard on full size keyboards, and it is the same way on this keyboard. I really do not understand the reasoning behind it but I digress. This keyboard works well, though I for sure wont be using it daily since it doesnt have VIA/QMK support.

Excellent gaming keyboard
Replaced my kids Logitech keyboard with the Redragon. They really enjoy it. The clicky feeling, the looks, everything. Very sleek and cool.
