Excellent tablet mount for your vehicle. 3 points of adjustment and 7 inches of arm length. Rock solid. No vibration at all. Holds my ipad mini securely. I mounted it in my truck for my ELD. The cradle is plastic, but everything else is machined aluminum. This unit is light years better than ANYTHING you're going to find in a truck stops. VERY competitively priced.

This is rated 4/5, only because I only found out AFTER buying a second piece off amazon to make this longer, that the tackform website had way more options than are on Amazon. I understand that Amazon is kind of a bad deal for sellers, but I wish there had been some indication that there was a 12" arm available before buying the 7" one listed here. I would advise anyone buying this product to check the website before ordering here for that reason. Also, be aware that if you plan to lengthen it, you will need a 20mm-20mm ball attachment that was ALSO not available on amazon. I wish I knew beforehand so I could have saved some money and time getting what I wanted.I usually would not review a product this quickly out of caution for it breaking, but I don't think this one will. I think the only point of potential failure on it is the piece that holds the tablet. Everything else is solid metal.I bought this to serve as basically an eisle for my ipad to draw on, as I have a pinched nerve that won't let me sit at a desk, and it serves it's purpose well. It's been a couple weeks of using in it's completed state, it and I have no complaints about the product itself.I attached it to the wall and this + the addition of the 12" arm has the total length at around 20". There are some angles that have minor slippage, but it is even at that length, stable enough that it will stay in place pretty well even while being drawn upon without needing to be braced in any way. This product is more expensive than pretty much all the other tablet arms I saw listed here, but the quality definitely reflects that. You can buy the longer arm attachment as an add-on for what it costs to order the cheaper ones first and have them break on you. Just check all the modular options for what you need and buy this one and save yourself the trouble.

This is a very well manufactured piece! It appears very long term durable and custom cut to precise standards. I purchases it for an experimental aircraft where a "similar" item specifically for the plane cost 5X more. This is definitely a great value in spite of being a little more costly than similar items. I would definitely purchase this agin if needed!

I purchased this mount after trying another all plastic mount. The plastic mount had lots of flex and the ball joints slipped while driving on bumpy roads. I need my tablet to stay stable while driving. Then I saw this Tackform mount and gave it a try. The mounting bracket and pivot arms are aluminum and stay in position through the bumpiest of our county roads. The cradle is plastic but works well with several different size arms to hold your tablet of choice. I highly recommend this tablet mount!

I was reluctant getting this. I anticipated it shaking and vibrating while going down the road.I have a 12.9" IPAD Pro. Being so big, I was doubtful this would hold it still while on rough roads.I was wrong!This mount is amazing. I can use my touch screen and the iPad doesn't move.It holds steady while driving over the pothole-ridden roads of Knoxville, TN.I would highly recommend this mount.The two articulated joints allow you to adjust it into just about any angle.Tip: When I mounted it, I did use the provided screws, but I also used a layer of double sided tape to give it extra staying power. I don't have a way of determining the difference this made, but it is solid.
