Maternity Off The Shoulder Maxi Gown Short Sleeve Baby Shower Dress for Photo Shoot (L, White)

I'm 5'5, 157 lbs, and 9 months pregnant. I ordered this dress in "white", (which turned out to be ivory in person) for my baby's newborn photos. I ordered the size large and it fit great, despite the fact that I am a small or medium in all of my maternity clothes. The style of this dress is super cute and just what I was hoping for. Unfortunately, it's made of a single layer of fabric which is extremely thin and sheer. If I were to keep the dress I would need a really good slip and smooth bandeau top to wear underneath because I can see my underwear and body through the fabric and the entire outline of my strapless bra. As other reviewers have noted, the dress is super long which I actually think is nice because it can hide swollen feet and legs in pictures, but if you want it for a baby shower or something like that, you will need to have it hemmed. Add it all up and suddenly the dress is not that great of a deal anymore. I'd rather spend more money on something higher quality, so it's going back.
