Anything from the Guitar Recorded Versions series is as good as it gets with commercial transcriptions. Just pick songs you like and practice, practice, practice. Keep in mind no transcription is perfect, there’s no established way to notate subtle differences. So, be sure to listen, listen, listen too. Keep on pickin’!

Gute Transkriptionen, gefällige Songs, wie man eben erwartet von Mr. Petty. Spiralbindung wäre halt gut, aber das haben eh die wenigsten. Wird leider zu unrecht vernachlässigt: Spiralbindung lässt sich leichter aufschlagen, schont das Buch und fällt nicht zu. So muß man dem Buch regelrecht Gewalt antun, damit es offenliegen bleibt.
