Works fine
Essentially just a black piece of fabric. Rather unimpressive. Edges are neat and no pilling.Still use it more now even after unearthing my old heat resistant matWorth the price if you consider you're getting free P&P and you're just ordering this on it's ownI suppose I prefer the non slip aspect as my old heat mat has a satin material on the bottom and a tendency to slide (the main reason I managed to lose it in the first place), so there's that

Was skeptical at first
UPDATE : I have used the product on a hard surface. I put my hot straighteners on the mat before, in between and after straightening my hair and it is heat resistant. Worked really well. I kept the original packaging so it is easy to put away.When it arrived I was skeptical to use it as it was some sort of felt material, it also came flat, but when I took it out it was a bit bent. Hopefully that'll straighten out overtime. I'm not sure it is heat resistant yet as I haven't tried it.

Good item
This is a good sized heat mat. It appears strong and is a good size. It is about a centimetre bigger in height and length than my old GHD mat. I brought this as a replacement as my old one was looking a bit tatty and had fluff stuck to it and just looked generally untidy. This new one looks so need in comparison. It appears to be a few millimetres thicker than my old one and is very useful for storing my hot hair products on.

Good heat resistant mat
It is a soft heat resistant mat that does the job, there is no fastenings on this I just roll my small straighteners in it and place in drawer.It does prevent heat going on to bed mats and carpets I have no complaints I would recommend. Only gave it 4 as it could have done with bit of Velcro to keep it closed!!

BURNED THROUGH!!!
The irony of this product!!! Put my curlers on top and it BURNED THROUGH my leather chair!!! Absolutely fuming!!! Invest in a more expensive one that actually does the job

Cheap looking cant roll up not a reliable material.

This little pad allows me to be able to put hair straighteners down on dressing table with out fear of burning table

Same as a cheap piece of craft felt - save your money!
Be warned you’re basically purchasing a piece of black craft felt. The item is not suitable for for hot irons. It makes out it’s a specialty product for hot irons but it’s clearly not. Totally waste of money & time ordering!
