Barbie Basics Model #07

I purchased this doll as a fashion muse. I really like her and would recommend her for mature children and adult collectors. The outfit she comes with is basic, but cute. However, it's not exactly something I'd let my niece dress her Barbie doll in. Be aware this isn't a doll for very young girls. The doll's makeup is modern and nicely done. However, as a previous reviewer pointed out, her hair (which is very pretty) is far more straight than pictured. It's slightly more reddish than it appears in the picture. There also isn't much wave or curl to it. Her hair can be curled if you know how to give a doll a permanent, but I don't think most people would want to bother. I've noticed some people complain that the Basics line offers dolls with limbs that don't bend. These are dolls for collectors rather than play. I gave the doll a makeover and a pivotal body. This model and model No. 02 are my favorites in the little black dress Basics collection.

After reading the reviews, I was still hoping to get lucky and get a curly-haired Barbie. But, like most reviewers said, her hair is straight. She looks exactly like the third stock photo of her in the box. Her copper colored hair is very straight, with a small curl of hair on the left side fastened by a rubber band. She is very pretty, looks classy in her dress, and is a great addition to my collection. I just wish that the stock photos presented looked like the one they are selling.

This doll is beautiful! The hair is a bit more red in person, which I loved! And this doll's legs and arms don't move, but they're not really made to. Everything is very well made from the doll to the outfit. I definitely recommend this to any collector!

She is more beautiful than I expected. Especially the face and make-up is refined. But her hair is quit different from the main photo. It's straight !!!! I don't mind her hair style.But if you expect perfect curly hair, I recommend you to find another barbie doll.

Really cute doll at a good price. Barbie Basics are made for dressing up. Box had some shelf wear, but I plan to take her out so not a problem.
