It works. But the aluminum screws were terrible. They stripped out at the start and almost ruined the threads in my hard drive. Luckily i just happened to have four screws that do work so i just used those. The mount was bent when i got it, probably not the sellers fault but the shipping process, it was easily bent back into shape. Over all is it worth the money? I think so but be careful with the aluminum screws.

Worked as described. Was bummed the PS3 didn't come with one. But this was VERY SIMPLE for me to just install and screw the new hard drive to it. Worked perfectly! I actually folded up the bag the hard drive came in as my temporary support. Ha ha. It worked great. It was an Xmas gift and my son really wanted to be able to play his games. It worked fine. But then this bracket came, it was a better solid fit of course. i was so proud of my folded bag, it was a little sad to just throw it away. Just kidding. It was fine. The bracket was way better.

What can I say? It does the job.OK, in all reality, it does leave a slight bit to be desired. The installation instructions are somewhat confusing and the edges are slightly sharp, but again, it does the job. When you get it, a set of screws and rubber grommets come with it. The instructions clearly state that you need to keep the screws on them.In reality, the picture shown for this Amazon sale is what you need to do. Once you get the drive fitted, everything slides in nicely.

When I purchased the HD for my PS3, it didn't come with this bracket. You cannot install without it. Glad it was instock and fit like a glove in my PS3.

My kid discovered an old PS3 in the closet and wanted to try it out. She found some games she loved so I upgraded the hard drive. I purchased the Mounting Kit, which was essential to fitting the new hard drive into the PS3 Slim. Installation was quick and easy, and the new hard drive fit perfectly using the Mounting Kit!

It's a small piece of metal that holds a hard drive in place. With that said, it does its job. I was able to upgrade the PS3's hard drive with no problem. Since I was able to get more space on the PS3 it has brought joy to my kids and for that I give it 5 stars. This is an example of how simple things can make a big difference.

Well made and worked as advertised

I'm not really sure what else I can say. I purchased the 320GB 2.5 Inch SATA Playstation PS3 hard Disk Drive and bought this to mount it into my PS3 and it fit perfectly. It was very easy to install with a youtube tutorial. I would buy it again.

I used this mounting braket to install a Weatern Digital 500 gb hard drive into my kid's PS3 superslim system. It connected to the hard drive with a couple screws and slid right into place. It made for an easy install

Just as described and what we needed

No hassle installation. Fits perfectly in my kids PS3 slim. Only concerns is the sharp metal edges. Had to file them so as not to cut anybody. Manufacturer should pay attention to this detail as it can lead to unnecessary wounds.

Didn't ship with any screws as shown in the pictures. I was installing a HDD into my 12GB PS3 so the screws are not absolutely necessary because the PS3 is laying flat but, I give it three stars for the missing screws.
