Will even filter mud!
Even after watching the video and being a closet water Nazi, I was still skeptical about these filters. I’m not now! Put some water into my EKKO at my COE campsite. Not much, maybe 20 gallons. The filter started running a bit slow and I was about to give James a talking to! Pulled the POE enclosure apart that had the FitRV filter in it and it was full of mud and pond water. Wish I had taken a photo!Went and checked the water pump filter, it was clear. Checked the other FitRV filter under sink and it was clear. The POE filter saved the day!As James indicated, you can rinse out the filter and use it some more. Worked great! Now between trips, I drain the system off and pull both FitRV filters, rinse them if needed and let them dry out. Rinse – repeat! Thanks for a great product!

Amazing water filter!
I’ve been using this water filter since it was released. It works great and does exactly what it promises. Great job FitRV!

Multi-stage filtering in 1 Housing Good for Boats, as well as RV’s.
We love our Fit RV water filter! We installed the first one in our RV and loved it so much that we just bought a 2nd one (standard housing) for our trawler to use while cruising the Great Lakes this summer. My husband was skeptical but says he can really taste a difference when using your filter. It’s amazing to get such a good filtering system in such a small package (multi-stage filtering in 1 cartridge) at an affordable price. This design makes for a super easy installation.

No taste improvement
It didn't change the taste of city water, still had a strong chlorine flavor, the kids wouldn't drink it (a bit spoiled by the RO filter in our house). It fits well in my 10" x 2.5" housing, I can see the indents on the ends where a good seal was formed, so this isn't because unfiltered water is leaking in. It's a two-canister housing, I put a normal heavy 5 micron carbon filter (which they say you shouldn't need) in the first canister and only then did the taste improve, though I lose a bit of pressure. Doesn't give me much confidence in the other claims they make about the filter's abilities, though it's no surprise to me that carbon-infused paper wouldn't do nearly as well at improving taste as a tube full of condensed carbon powder. I'll still give it a chance and continue to use it, if I notice any other water quality issues I'll come back and drop more stars.

Filter is very lightweight and lacks certifications and expected lifespan in gallons
I purchased the Fit RV 3-in-1 water filter, hoping its Agion Silver additive would prevent microbial contamination during storage—a key feature for RV camping. At approximately three times the cost of my regular 2.5” x 10” carbon filter, I expected robust performance. However, I was surprised by its light weight of 157g compared to my previous filter’s 442g. This raised concerns about whether it contains enough filter media to effectively remove contaminants and last as long as heavier filters. While the Agion Silver feature is a great selling point for keeping the filter clean between uses, I’m skeptical about its primary mission: thoroughly filtering water of contaminants like chlorine, sediments, or heavy metals. The lighter weight makes me question its lifespan, especially for frequent RV use or high-contaminant water sources. I’d feel more confident if the manufacturer provided NSF/ANSI certifications or clear lifespan ratings (e.g., gallons filtered. It has neither) to compare with standard filters. The high price feels hard to justify without proof of superior performance or longevity. I plan to test its filtration effectiveness and monitor how long it lasts in real-world use. For now, I don’t recommend it without the manufacturer improving the filter.

Great filter: great flow, great taste.
Fantastic. Water taste great the the flow is much better than the other (less expensive) filters we've been using in our RV. Thanks FitRV!

It Works As Advertised and Fits the Camco Evo RV Filter
As we headed out camping this past week, sure enough our water filter system failed and simultaneously I saw the Fit RV filter on Facebook. I watched the video…which I recommend, as it gave me confidence in the effort, engineering, and science applied in the development of the product. I ordered the new filter along Camco Evo RV filter hoping it would fit…and it did!!!So…I think we have a new solution to our camping water filtration system.

Disappointed this didn't work better for the high cost
Fit fine but it's very lightweight and I'm not confident it will filter as well as claimed. It seemed to filter but it clogged with sediment sooner than expected. I test my water weekly (full timer with well water NOT city supply, no added treatments) For the high price I would NOT buy again. This filter is the 1st filter from well. I have a regular rv filter(camco) as 2nd filter and a water softner ALL BEFORE water enters RV. With 2 filters and softner I have seen ZERO difference in the inside RV filter with this added. For the high cost of This filter I hoped there would be a difference on the inside filter (and longer time before needing change) but saw no difference at all. Disappointed this didn't work better.
