Great to connect lighting to USB-C
Was able to connect my apple earphones- lighting to my iPad that uses USB-C. Sound is good and no problem connecting.

Doesn't last
I've only had this item for about five weeks, and used it a handful of times. It broke after me simply trying to unplug it from my phone and is now unusable. It worked great before this issue.

Plays sound from Apple Lightning through USB C.
It does exactly what it's supposed to. It lets my Apple earphones (lightning) work with my new iPad (USB C). Note: it is not meant to charge anything! It is just for audio, which is exactly what I wanted. The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is that I don't like the bright green LED light. Yes it tells you that it's working, but the sound from my earphones tells me that. It's a bit bright at night. I may try to color it with a marker.

Perfect. Wired earphones to iPhone 16
I like my wired earphones. They are comfortable, I can hear better than holding my phone to my ear, and give privacy that speakerphone doesn’t.I have purchased & given away earbuds.This adapter works great, it’s small, and there’s no difference in the quality of the sound of music.It’s very easy to use, plug wired lightning earphones into one side, then plug other end into your iPhone. With the cost, if you lose it you can get another one.Cons: only con is the small size. I like that it’s small, but it could be lost easily when not in use.For the price, I highly recommend this adapter works great!

It Works Well
The transition to just USB-C for virtually all phones will eventually eliminate the need for this.But until then, you'll need one of these for your older iPhone and have a penchant for wired headphones.Luckily, they work as advertised.
