Plug and play with Ubuntu, couldn't be easier to use. In terms of product design, I like that it's very small so the chances of this sticking out the side of my laptop and breaking due to impact are very limited. Fits snug in the usb port also on my Thinkpad. Price is also great

The BT dongle received quickly - but didn't work. Good online resolution with the company- arranged to send out a slightly different (larger) dongle with LED next day - which worked. Good customer service - but shame the original (smaller) dongle didn't work.

I have added these to an older laptop and desktop. I used the mini 5.4 version with an old Surface Pro, and the 5.4 150-metre version with a rather old desktop machine. The desktop machine has no built-in Bluetooth because it's so old, though it still works fine. I had been using a really old Bluetooth 3.0 adapter with it for a long time, so this was an excellent upgrade at a very reasonable price. The best advantage on that machine is with Bluetooth headphones because the sound now remains in sync with video and I can wear the headphones all over my apartment without disconnecting, which had happened previously. With the Surface Pro, I use it either plugged in directly or plugged into a USB hub. It improves Bluetooth audio sync and lag with this device too and of course, it's remarkably compact, excellent. They both report as genuine Realtek 5.4 chipsets under Windows and have been reliable. I'm impressed with the quality for the price. The 150-metre version has been working fine plugged into the back of my desktop machine despite being plugged into the back of the machine, where I thought its reception might be blocked. I can't see anything to complain about, they're good up-to-date products at a reasonable price and for me, they've been 'plug it and forget it', excellent.

The Hakimonoe Long Range USB Bluetooth 5.4 Adapter for PC, (BT5.4-Long Range 150M-BT09) comes with the antenna. After comparing it to this mini adapter I can see that the range is outstanding. Only one problem with this your Bluetooth devices must also support the extensive range to take advantage of this latest technology. Otherwise, I prefer the Mini USB Bluetooth adapter because it is so small it can be forgotten it is there and I only need Bluetooth connectivity when I am at my desk or in the kitchen or lounge so no distance at all. 20/7/25 - Gave up with this Bluetooth micro dongle because it developed a fault and would lose its connection.

Firstly it's advertised as a 5.4 Bluetooth adapter and that was why I chose it. However it's marked up as a 5.0!! It does work for my intended purpose, but if you really need a 5.4 Bluetooth adapter, it won't be this one.

It's made of plastic is very small and easy to misplace so install and don't lose it. It works great on a Dell desktop running windows 11

Worked AFTER I was finally able to download the driver for it. Sadly, I didn't get a stronger, more distant signal than my other unit (which literally fell apart when I tried to move it).
