Captivating Story
Imagine that someone you just met and trusted has now demonstrated the ability to threaten your security. Now imagine that when you report this to the authorities, there is no concrete proof that this person has done anything. In fact, they question whether or not everything you’re telling them is real, and infer that maybe the entire issue is merely a part of your mental instabilities.Enter the world of Alice, a place that goes from fairly normal to being turned upside down. Bit by bit, the unknown stalker begins to compress her world, until she even begins to question her own actions. This is the tension and personal horror that author Adam Croft drops us into in his current novel “In Her Image.”What is fascinating about this book is Mr. Croft’s character study of both Alice and her shadowy harasser. The author primarily focuses on Alice’s dilemma and her mental struggles as she feels the security of her world vanishing. Periodically, the stalker takes over for a chapter and we are privy to his personal thoughts. These contrasting aspects contribute to the fear one can feel by stepping into Alice’s shoes. For those interested, there are no sex scenes in the book. There are vulgarities in the book, depending upon the action, although I felt the author did not use them excessively. This is a definite page-turner that I read in one sitting. The plot moves steadily and never seems to bog down, progressing smoothly to a satisfying finish. Five stars.

I Want My Time and Money Back!
I usually can find something positive about any book I read. I'm having trouble doing so with this novel. The plot was weak. The characters were weaker, and the dialogue was cringe worthy! I read it too the end, hoping that there would be an intriguing twist or a satisfying culmination. Alas, it was sadly predictable. I absolutely hate when a male character comes to the rescue of the idiot female who put herself in an easily foreseen compromising position. The (male) author wrote in first-person as a female character. She was mentally unstable, a borderline alcoholic, on antidepressants, seeking psychological help, and dependent on her ex-boyfriend, his male friend, her male kickboxing instructor, and her father for any and all "solutions" for her situation. The females in the story--mother, friend, counselor, police woman--all failed her as adversaries. Please, Adam Croft, for the sake of women everywhere, do not write another novel in this style!

"Stalking Photographer Is On The Hunt"
This is a scary psychological thriller you'll not be able to set down. Someone is seeking Alice Jefferson. He entices her to his photography site wanting to take some photos as she's beautiful like a model. Perhaps he can find such a job for her. But his true goal is to stalk her and capture her. The police can find no trace of him stalking her or being in her home at night and she has no evidence. But Alice knows who her stalker is ... and she will hunt him down and terrorize him. A scorcher of a story which will engulf you. Highly recommend.

He is so good at making you feel excited whenever you read him ...
There isn't much to say about this author that I haven't already said. He is so good at making you feel excited whenever you read him because his stories and characters are always so interesting. The only thing I would say about this book is that the main character was a bit too introspective. Otherwise, another great book that is hard to put down. Love everything he has written.

Could Not Put This Book Down!!
Loved, loved, loved this book!! I was looking to start a new book and just couldn't find something I could dive into immediately until I saw In Her Image! From the moment I started reading this book I was hooked. Great characters, great dialogue that moves the plot along at a fast pace and a great ending. Just what I had in my mind when I went searching for a good book to read.

Another great book by Adam Croft.
This one keeps you turning the pages and wondering if you are a bit crazy. Alice is being stalked and no one believes her. What lengths should she go through to find her stalker or is she crazy? He seems to be everywhere, even in her house...how can she prove it? And what makes it scarier is when she finds out who it is, how will she prove it.I have read quite a few of Mr. Crofts book and have never been disappointed in any of them. Looking forward to reading more.

Loved it!!
This book got my attention from the get go and never let go! If I had the time I would have never put it down but, alas, that is not real life. I would encourage anyone who is a fan of Adam Croft to read this...you won't be disappointed!!! I can't wait for his next release!

Pageturner
I preordered In Her Image and it was worth the wait. The suspense of not knowing if Alice was sane or delusional had me not able to put this book down. You've done it again, Adam Croft. Looking forward to reading more of your books.
