Disappointing Experience with TP-Link LiteWave LS106LP PoE Switch
I purchased the TP-Link LiteWave LS106LP 8-Port Gigabit PoE Switch from Amazon approximately five months ago, hoping for a reliable solution for my network needs. Initially, the device worked as expected, providing power and data connectivity to my PoE-compatible devices without issue. However, after just four months of use, the switch has completely failed. Upon powering it on, all LED indicators immediately begin blinking erratically and the device is no longer functional. This is a significant concern for a product that should offer long-term reliability. My attempts to reach TP-Link's technical support for assistance have been incredibly frustrating. After multiple calls, I was informed that my only options were to seek a local technician for repairs or to write a detailed email explaining the issue, after which they would "decide what to do with the device." This level of support is unacceptable for a product that failed so quickly and is still under warranty. It feels like they are pushing the burden of repair onto the customer rather than offering a straightforward resolution.Given the premature failure of the device and the unhelpful customer service experience, I cannot recommend the TP-Link LiteWave LS106LP PoE Switch. It's a significant disappointment, and I would advise potential buyers to consider other brands with better product longevity and more responsive customer support.
