This complete solar system model is fantastic. Every thing needed to assemble the model is included. Everything, even paint and paint brushes. I am pleased with the ease of assembly and the look of the finished solar system. I got this model for one of my sons who is now the resident authority on the solar system. He was surprised, thrilled and very happy to have his own model of the solar system, and so proud that he had made it himself without any help. When my son saw the box of the solar system model, his eyes and little face lit up like times square on new year's eve. He said thank you and ran to his room where he began to put the model together. He did not read the directions, he said he could see how it went together. I am so proud of him. If you have a junior astrologist, or someone who is going to be a space explorer, or someone who enjoys the planets and solar system, this is The Gift for that person. It is well made, very easy to assemble, and looks very good when assembled. I am so very happy with this solar system model. It is good quality, all that is needed for assembly is included in the kit. I highly recommed this kit

The appeal to me when I saw this model is that it will sit in the child's room as a constant visual versus a book they'll look at from time to time. Though the kit arrived in a padded envelope and its box was damaged, the kit was in good shape, and the quality of the kit itself is nice. Posting pictures of the box with a bit of damage at the bottom, the kit contents, and the puzzle board laid out, which gives the option for you to paint a second set of styrofoam balls to glue onto the puzzle board. I placed balls on the board for a visual. One question on my mind, as I'm still waiting for the grandkids to come put this together, is will it be hard to hold onto those little styrofoam balls when painting. My guess is yes, it will be, though the instructions give no hint of such. Upon googling the question, an answer is to use a toothpick or a wooden skewer to poke into the ball for which to hold while painting, so that's what we'll do. I know the two boys, ages 5 and 8, will think this solar planet model this is really cool. I look forward to see how the planets turn out!

This DIY planet model set is very cool.There are actually 2 different projects included, so it could easily be shared and enjoyed by 1 or 2 kids.The first projet is a 9 planet model. It includes Styrofoam planets and a wooden stand to display them on.The second is a puzzle with Styrofoam planets that you can lay on the puzzle to show the order of the planets.On both projects, you will paint the planets. Really cool thing is the instructions have paint color recommendations so you can make them as realistic as possible. There are 2 sets of paints, so again, plenty to use with 1 or 2 kids which makes this set a great value.Aside from it being a fun and artistic set, the educational value is amazing. Included are cards for each planet with facts such as it's atmosphere, color, moons, etc.Overall completely satisfied with the set. Highly recommend for any kid who is interested in space. Would be an amazing homeschool item as well.

This is a neat little kit that provides all you need including the wood, white 'planets', paint, and brushes. It's a fun DIY type activity to paint the planets and then discuss with the kids about the planets.

A perfect DIY solar system model. Has everything you need to build our solar system. Perfect for school projects or just for fun. Very strong and sturdy material that is easy to build and assemble. The paint quality is good and the planets are durable to paint and place. The cards have fun facts about each planet and you can spin the planets in their orbit around the sun. Couldn't have asked for a better DIY solar system project for my oldest daughter. Good size too and very enjoyable to build together with my daughter. 10/10
