Basic Timer but does the job.
I just wanted a basic timer that would just turn the immersion on for a couple of hours in the morning on the cheap rate electricity. The tank does two showers and plenty of water for whatever washing up I need to do so don’t need it on in the evening. This one fits the bill perfectly as I do not need the unnecessary all singing, all dancing and more expensive ones on the market. It has movable pegs so can be set for however long or short time or multiple daily settings you want. If you want a simple life this is perfect.

Faulty electrical time switch
This Timeguard TS900N electrical timer failed within 3 months of purchase. The rotating time dial ceased to function although the manual override still worked. The seller was Electricals247, who denied responsibility and referred me back to Amazon. Amazon’s sequential returns prompts indicated Timeguard’s Customer Service Dept., giving the relevant telephone number, but Timeguard also rejected responsibility or replacement.Amazon’s returns sequence/options went round and round in circles!ChatGPT indicates that, under UK Consumer Rights Act 2015, Electricals274 is primarily responsible.

First one lasted only 8 months
I have now bought 3 of these. One for my son's house. It lasted 8 months. I bought one for me which is still working after 6 months. Third one seems to work.

Really good so far
Good simple timer for water heater. Only installed for a few days but seems solid/reliable. Quite easy to wire-in.
