Are we suppose to burn the parchment paper? What do we do with it after setting our intentions, or can we just speak it?

You create a petition and write that on apartment paper, (which is your petition) and place the candle over the petition. You speak your intention into the candle. Basically telling the candle what it is that you want, which should be the same as your petition paper. When the candle has finished burning completely, you burn the petition and release the ashes outside. That's what I do with my petitions.

I work 5-days per week. Its impossible to leave a candle burning while i am away from my house. Can i burn for 7-days as long as i am at home?

Place it in shallow dish of water either in the sink or bathtub with the petition beneath it when you have to leave home if you wish to keep it burning. Otherwise, snuff it before you leave and re-light it as soon as you return.

Are we supposed to use any kind of parchment paper?

Only if you want to list very specific wishes. But be careful what you wish for...you will get it. Just think of peaceful solutions & answers to your questions & needs & accept what will come your way in harmony.
