This was easy to purchase and easy to install.I installed it on a Samsung laptop. I can sync my saved documents to OneDrive.account or I can just save them to the Document Folder in my laptop if I don't want to sync them online.I got it whilst it was on sale and it was way more affordable to purchase it on here compared to buying it direct from the sellar.

I’m reaching out regarding a frustrating issue I encountered with a product purchased from Amazon. The product description on the website stated that it was compatible with Mac (Latest iOS), which led me to purchase it. However, after following download and install instructions, I found that it wasn’t Mac-compatible, contrary to the description. If this had been clearly stated, I would never have made the purchase.This misunderstanding has caused significant stress and has left me out of pocket. I reached out to Microsoft for assistance, but they were unable to help, confirming that the product I purchased isn’t compatible with Mac, despite the misleading information provided on Amazon’s website. Microsoft can only offer technical support, and the responsibility for resolving the situation lies with Amazon, as the product was purchased directly through them.Following Amazon’s customer service instructions, I provided evidence of my communication with Microsoft, including the case number, to open a ticket and begin the refund process. However, I am still waiting for any resolution or confirmation from Amazon. I also inquired about receiving an e-voucher for the same value as the product, but was not offered this as an alternative. When I asked for my request to be escalated, I was given conflicting information from multiple representatives.I have now been in contact with four different representatives, and despite being told to email the Microsoft case number for the refund process to begin, I am receiving inconsistent responses from the same team. This situation has caused nothing but frustration, as I’m left without the product, refund, or any progress on resolving the issue.The lack of clarity and inconsistent communication from Amazon’s customer service has made this an extremely stressful experience.

Its a great price but it auto renews at more than double the cost, though you do get 2 extra months. As you get all the updates its well worth the subscription cost and covers 5 different machines.Its the industry standard and a must buy.

I purchased 'Windows for Mac 2008' discs from Amazon for use initially on a MacBook pro many years ago (2008 obviously) but when updating my iMac again in 2025 a lot of files auto default opened as Pages that feels very clunky and layout of my documents just didn't work for me. Despite Apple store telling me the migration from one iMac to another would be fine - it just wasn't, and reluctantly I bought this downloadable copy as a gamble - being un-techy I expected this to fail for me and lose my purchase and money - however I can't believe how easy this has been - opening my purchase in Amazon went straight onto my iMac and all my original Word - Pages documents transferred automatically back into Word but now in the even better version ! I am now loving using the new Microsoft Word (and Teams and Excel...) and now don't curse the day I updated the iMac. This has been the first downloadable software that was painless and straightforward - un-be-lie-va-ble.

This did not add on to my existing subscription as it would usually. The renewal date is a year from when I bought it. It doesn't just add 12 months to your current date as previously. Other people have written that in their reviews.However, Amazon said they can not help me as I have to contact Microsoft.This is what Microsoft have to say about this.If you purchased a Microsoft 365 subscription from a third-party retailer, such as Amazon, Apple, Best Buy, or Google Play, please contact them directly to manage your subscription and billing.Microsoft cannot cancel or help turn on or off recurring billing for subscriptions purchased through a third-party retailer.If you purchased a Microsoft subscription from the third-party retailer, contact their customer support for cancellation or refund. All refund requests must go to the third-party retailer from whom you purchased the subscription because Microsoft did not receive that payment.

Works pretty well but now I have just seen the increase (almost double from last year) in the annual subscription I won’t be renewing. For most users I would think this has now out priced itself unless you can share with the family subscription.
