Great first car
Bought this for an 11 year old. He loves it. Pretty easy to drive and he hasn't broken it yet. I knew nothing about RC cars when I bought it, but it seems like a great choice for a first car.Runs much longer with a LIPO battery, but don't make my mistake and buy the wrong adapter type. Make sure it has the Traxxas ID connection. Can only use a two cell (2S) battery

Advertising a little off
Only come with one battery advertised for 2 contacted Traxxas directly they gave me a BS story about the description is out of there hands but definitely I fun Adults or pre teens toy.

Fun, Fun, Fun.......!
This is my first foray into this hobby, and I could not be more pleased so far. This car is everything that I could have expected and more. I am not a basher per se, choosing rather to drive my car in the manner and way that is safe, fun while promoting reliability. I'm excited to take this first step into the world of RC and I would recommend this vehicle to anyone new to the hobby without hesitation.
