Whole Note Pumpkin Bread & Muffin Mix, 7-Whole-Grain and Naturally Gluten-Free (Pack of 3)

I am gluten free and struggle this time of year (fall) because all the pumpkin spice treats I love and used to eat are full of glutenous goodness. I was thrilled when I found this mix and decided to give it a try, although it cost a little more than I typically like to spend. I was NOT disappointed! I made baked donuts and they were a hit! When I realized there was only one left, I hid it for myself for later! They were perfectly moist and full of delicious flavor! In fact, the smell upon opening the box was almost intoxicating. It smelled like Thanksgiving in my house! I cannot wait to make these again! In the future I might dust with a little powdered sugar, add to a trifle, or make muffins and top with cream cheese frosting! The options are endless... which is good because my love of all things pumpkin is also endless. Trust me when I say these are absolutely, amazingly delicious and worth all your money! how could it be? That these are the best pancakes I ever tasted. I recently had to turn to an all gluten-free and lactose-free diet. And, found these pancakes and scored! I was unsure about the mix, but boy was I wrong. This pancake mix is FULL OF FLAVOR! My family even said that this pancake mix was better than regular pancake mix. HAPPY BUYER :)

There's nothing like a whole grain to both satisfy your taste buds and nourish your body. Whole Notes has created a mix that has all the mouth-feel of wheat pumpkin bread. It's not too sweet, either, a constant problem with GF mixes struggling to suit both new converts to GF and people who have been GF or years and don't need excess sugar or fat.It takes skill to figure out the right ratio of starch to flour, in different grains, to get a good GF bread or dessert. This is the mix I want when I gotta have pumpkin bread. (Pick a good canned pumpkin and good eggs, and it's heaven!)

This muffin/bread mix is the best I've ever had. I love that it's gluten-free. I didn't use eggs and couldn't find a can of pumpkin so I substituted it with sweet potatoes. Just in water, plain, no sugar. You could also boil sweet potatoes. They are very easy to skin afterward. It worked out great. Actually no taste of the sweet potatoes only pumpkin due to the fabulous pumpkin spices. The aroma is heavenly. Also, I did not grease my muffin tins and they came out perfectly with no sticking.The mix will be like cookie dough, rather thick. I prefer larger muffins so I got 12 from the mix. If you prefer a wetter consistency, you can also use vanilla yogurt or unsweetened applesauce. I baked a little longer than what's suggested in the recipe because I like a crunch on the top.Seriously. If you love pumpkin treats you will LOVE this mix.

My husband and I are big fans of pumpkin muffins. It's almost impossible to find anything pumpkin during the Spring and Summer. I searched Amazon and found this mix. Wow, I love it and so does my husband. It's become my favorite Pumpkin Bread/Muffins. I'm thrilled to have found this. I add some Raisins, Oatmeal and pecans to the recipe to give it fiber but it does not change the wonderful flavor of the mix. I sometimes add canned pumpkin (as suggested) but sometimes I add can Sweet Potatoes (Yum!). I'm happy to share this review with the rest of the shoppers.

My husband goes crazy this time of year for anything pumpkin spice. So, I got a couple of these mixes to try out. You do have to buy canned pumpkin; I used 8 oz pie filling which is the same thing but with the spices already added.The result? Happy husband who is going to eat the whole cake by himself, I swear . I already have the puppy eyed beg of "can you make it again?".I did a very thin icing on top with powdered sugar, a bit of milk and more pumpkin spice. Honestly I would do it with cream cheese as well. It can balance out the spices well. That it's gluten free, well - it's a little more dense than your normal home made pumpkin bread, but it's fluffy and delicious.

I made my first pizza crust using this mix. Each pack box contains two packets of yeast and dough ingredients. Each packet makes a nice 10-11 inch pizza. Did mine in a grill on a pizza, and it came out perfect. The crust was just firm enough to hold each slice together nicely, yet more satisfying that a typical thin crust pizza. A little more trouble to prepare, but worth it.

I met the developer of his pancake and waffle mix at the Chicago area Gluten Free show. They were really good. Trick for us is to find something that all members of the family like, gluten free and not gluten free. These waffles and pancakes taste so good, they have a great formula for their product. Easy to use, we put in Belgian Waffle maker, comes out perfect. I don't much like pancakes and waffles but I will eat these, they come out crispy and not doughy and spongy. Highly recommend this mix.
