Bought this as a secret Santa gift for a work colleague who is also an Army Reservist. He loved it and got very distracted with it when he should have been doing some work!! Really good value for money too. He is in his late 20s which goes to show this is suitable for children and adults alike!

This army doll set is perfect for any play and imagination time for kids. The look and outfit of the soldier is on point and very realistic. Any child would love this figurine for such a small price.

The neck, shoulders, elbows, wrists, hips, and knees move smoothly and are easy to position, holding steady without slipping out of place. The figurine’s weight feels just right, giving it a satisfying balance that adds to the tactile enjoyment of posing and handling this soldier.Most parts and interchangeable elements are well-finished, with only a couple of small sharp edges that I suspect occurred during the moulding process. These seem to be where a bit of plastic seeped out and hardened along the edges of the mould. Thankfully, they were simple to trim off with pliers and sand down for a smooth finish. On a positive note, there are no visible seams, which keeps the overall appearance tidy and polished.One disappointment for me was the inability to choose a specific figure. I didn’t like the face expression on the soldier I received and would have preferred one of the others if given the option.As for the details, the main figure is well-sculpted, with good precision in its design.However, the accompanying dog figure left much to be desired. Its features and fur texture are poorly defined, appearing blurry and underwhelming. To make matters worse, the dog has anatomically inaccurate and unnecessary details that I found completely inappropriate (human-like male genitals on the dog’s belly, which feels entirely out of place).Considering all of this, I found it hard to see this set as good value for money. There are certainly some positives, but the flaws—particularly with the dog figure—leave me hesitant to recommend it.
