IMPORTANT - IF YOU WANT TO BURN BLU-RAY OR HD YOU NEED TO BUY A PLUGIN
I bought this specifically to burn BluRays (of original, not pirated material) The product description says this: Burn Toast 11 is the easiest and fastest way to burn your music, video, photo and data files on to CD, DVD or Blu-ray Disc. Span large projects across multiple discs. Archive up to 50 GB on high capacity Blu-ray Discs. New: Burn or copy discs using multiple drivers at the same time Improved: Back up an entire camera of HD video to disc in one click BUT BEWARE: In order to burn HD or BluRay, you need to purchase an additional plugin which is £15 GBP. This should be stated clearly in the description and I will be complaining to Roxio about this. Amazon service and delivery was exceptional as usual, hence the 3 stars.

Great Product but beware running on OS high Sierra 10.13.4.
Purchased Roxio Toast Titanium 11(Mac) Jan 2018, worked OK till I updated my OS on my macbook to High Sierra 10.13.4 which now runs on 64bit from the previous 32bit making Toast Titanium 11 incompatable, I contacted Corel who suggested I upgrade to Toast Titanium 16 at a cost of around £68.00. Not a cheap alternative having paid £49.99 already for toast 11. PS ,I am not giving this a single star for the product, works fine on the old firmware, but the new OS High Sierra has consigined it to the trash bin.

A bit of a con
I bought this product on recommendation from an Apple advisor having just purchased my first Apple computer (All-in-one Lion OS) since they had withdrawn iDVD an application enabling burning videos to dvd blu-ray etc (inexplicably in my view)from their iLife package which comes with the Apple. I am enthralled with iMovie..it readily accepts AVCHD files and is easier to use than most of the other editors that I have tried. With iDVD it would have been perfect but I could get no satisfactory explanation from Apple why it had been withdrawn. The only use I have for Toast 11 is to literally burn my iMovies to blu-ray. When I received the box containing the software from Amazon the info on the back persuaded me that this was a product that would do what I wanted .."Enjoy your digital media anywhere on any device". In the picture below this blu-ray is mentioned specifically. However coming to use it I soon got the message that "you need to purchase a plug-in to burn to HD and blu-ray" I did purchase it. Its cost is not negligible (about £17). Further, when I tried it did record the video on blu-ray but it was preceded by two screens of garbage when the software was set up to play the video directly. (And that was not a fault of the blu-ray player as I have other video derived via other pc packages that work perfectly)So I am not impressed and as far as my particular need for a burner is concerned I feel conned.! Amazon please note..I would have returned it to you but of course it was not until I had opened the software and tried it that the problem was laid bare.

Nice, easy to use Mac software for burning optical media
As a Roxio Toast Titanium 10 user, I'd say if you already have 10, there's no need to upgrade to 11. I did it, also bought the Blu Ray / High Definition plug-in from Roxio's website (very bad thing for them, it looks extremely unprofessional that they somehow 'force' the buyer to get the plug-in if (s)he wants to burn BD / HD). I don't think it would've been a major investment (or financial loss) for Roxio to include the plug-in in the software and leave it at the price it's already got (and it's not cheap!). Most software that the package comes bundled with doesn't do much, if you really wanna take advantage of it all, you would have to buy the Pro version. For what it does, it's still expensive, and I bought it from the Amazon, where it's the cheapest, at least at the time of writing. If you go to Apple Store or get it from the Roxio website, you're gonna pay even more. Want some BD / HD burning ? Then add some 15 quid out of your pocket, as it's Roxio's way of doing business. For the good part - stable software so far, never crashed, it IS compatible with Mac OS X Mountain Lion (version 10.8), which I'm using. So far I've only burned 12 DVDs with it, the DVD drive that my Macbook comes with is a Matshita (which is, in fact, Panasonic, so it's a high quality device), I burned 6 DVDs at x4 speed and the other 6 at x8, no errors on either side. One curious fact, worth mentioning, I think is that with Roxio TT 11, the actual burning speed is a little bit slower than the one selected by the user. With version 10, I selected x4 for DVD burning, and it was usually working at x5 or even x6. With 11, I selected x4 and it's burning at x3, in the best case. It took longer to burn the same amount of data with version 11 than it previously took with 10. As for the interface, well, design is a highly subjective thing, but I think 11 looks FAR better than 10, Roxio really did a very good job here, redoing the whole stuff. Imo, it's also easier to use and the options / selections are arranged more logically. As a previous 9 & 10 versions user (which were very stable and reliable) I hope 11 is gonna be the same.

Toast 11 Titanium (Mac)
I have just purchased the new Mac which has no CD drive installed or software to run it ,I purchased a Apple CD drive/burner and found that I still could not convert my latest iMovie project to DVD for my parents so after searching the web for answers it was the only route to purchase Toast,I realise that there are cheaper and free alternatives on the web however Toast seem to have a universal following with many, I like to have the actual disc to re-install if a problem occurs old fashion I might be I still like the disc !
