My little nephew (4 years old) loved it and stuck with it until he completed it.He did almost all of it by himself.

The two puzzles were easy enough for my 5 year old grandson to put together without help. He asked me to purchase more for him.

My 5, almost 6-year-old, grandson enjoyed the puzzles and I liked that the pieces were thick enough to last and to fit together easily. I was surprised that the boxes referred to the puzzles being appropriate for children aged 3 plus but advertised for children 4 plus. I think 4 plus is appropriate.

There are two 60-piece bright and colorful puzzles included in this set. They are cut well and fit together nicely. My child loves animals and these were perfect for him. Each are in a separate bag when first opening the package. Thank your future self by getting a couple of resealable bags to sort them or take a sharpie or stamp to mark the back side of the pieces with a symbol in case they get mixed up. We have so many puzzles in our home that it would definitely be necessary.In the description, it mentions it could be a floor puzzle. The puzzle is 15 x 11 inches, so it is small enough to complete on a table, but with larger piece puzzles (these are about 1 ¾ - 2 ¼ inch pieces) we often end up doing puzzles on the floor.This puzzle includes two posters for reference or for hanging up in your kids room after completed. The reference sheet matches up perfectly with the puzzle, so if your child is finding this puzzle to be a bit of a challenge, you can open up the reference sheet and have them lay the puzzle pieces directly on the sheet to complete the puzzle.The set mentions various age ranges. My child loves puzzles and has been doing more challenging puzzles at a younger age. I’d say these puzzles would work well for ages 3-6, but we have a lot of puzzler friends that would still enjoy this at 7 and 8, though it may not be as challenging. My child is now 4.5 and has always been excitable about puzzles and a little rough with them. At 2.5-3, I would struggle to find puzzles that were challenging enough but also sturdy enough to endure a very excitable nature. These are sturdy and I believe would have held up well.Typically, we lean towards thicker puzzle pieces than this, but my child has gotten older and calmed down a bit, so I think these will last a long time in our home. I can’t tell you how many times we’ve purchased puzzles thinking they would hold up and they don’t last long. While these are not wooden pieces, these pieces are lined with a layer of structural paper on each side of the cardboard, so they hold up better and will get used a lot in our home.
